Bad returns policy - don't expect your money back

Despite having only taken the glasses out of the box to look at them they then wouldn't refund 1 glass out of every 6. They made up lies like there was lipstick on one and the stem was broken on another. Total nonsense. We took them out to look at 1 of each type of zalto. Then put them back in.

As with others on this website and other websites, who have reviewed this company - the customer service is very poor. The communication is very poor. Go elsewhere

HomeInstitute have proved to be honest and reliable

I was moaning that the company had sent the older version of a Ratio 6 coffee machine though I had paid for the new version. Today i received a package with all the parts to make it into the new version. I am over the moon and can only say what a great result this is.

Zalto glasses too expensive and too delicate

I had to wait over 6 months for my order to arrive. I understand things were delayed post pandemic but they never kept me informed. I had to chase frequently to find our what was going on. The glasses cost a fortune - I bought them for a special occasion. 1 year later they have all broken. Mostly either when being (gently) washed or dried up. They are so delicate and they break so easily. I just cannot understand how anyone can successfully keep them and not break them! Biggest waste of money ever. I am a very disatisfied customer.

People are becoming spoiled by Amazon

People are becoming spoiled by Amazon. Yes I did order zalto glasses back in May 2022 to receive them in September 2022. This is because I order premium mouthblown glasses that I had to wait for the order to arrive. The seller is transparent on the website on the waiting time of the next order of glasses they will receive. I contacted them in July and they confirmed that my order will be in the August delivery which is estimated end of August. I got them mid September. Delay was not sellers fault. So please don't jump to conclusions and throw stones to the seller as you create panik to all of us who go to trust pilot to check the reviews.

Possibly a scam website

I placed an order for a item on the 1st March 2022 with an expected delivery date for a couple of months later. 7 Months later, no delivery, no communication from the ‘Home Institute’ as too why. I have request a refund which has not come through yet. Do not use this website or send them your money.

Unacceptable customer services

I ordered two Zalto glasses in June via the website that gave the impression they would be dispatched within five days. The full payment was taken within 24 hours. After a week the website stated their would be a delay of 1-4 weeks. In over 4 months I was unable to contact this company despite various requests for information. In October I eventually received a response and finally I received an email this week stating they had been dispatched and would arrive the next day. I asked where they were the next day but received no reply. However, the parcel arrived in tact today. Hence I am now posting my experience with this company.

I would suggest anyone considering buying from this company should think hard as if things go wrong there is unlikely to be any help or communication from customer services and they will have already taken full payment.

No stock, no reply to emails, no website

I ordered some Zalto glasses back in April. I emailed, asking where they were - no reply. Then for several days all their websites went down.

This isn't some fancy outfit, it's a backstreet budget operation that's sat on lots of customers cash ... with no stock or interest in communicating with or fulfilling their orders.

Listing products as in stock (and with…

Listing products as in stock (and with max 5 days delivery) even though they aren’t. Bought two different items, both listed as in-stock, and a month on, they still haven't been shipped. This was the response from the company:

“New ‘In stock’ orders, including yours, will be dispatched when this shipment arrives in April, as will existing pre-orders. We have made this stock available so that we can draw a distinction for our customers between this shipment and future shipments latter in the year. “
