Extremely poor and patronising service.
We have called in here many times over the years and purchases some lovely items, however yesterday was a different story. We picked up two cushions from a sale display, they were £35 reduced to £17.50, my husband handed them to the young lady behind the counter and asked if we could collect them later as we were on our way out shopping, she said yes. My husband walked away from the till area and I offered to pay now and walked up to the till. The items were totalled and it came to £70 +. I pointed out that the cushions were on sale and had red stickers on the labels ( we had checked the price again just before approaching the till), the red stickers had disappeared - the assistant denied taking them off, we queried this and an older lady came from upstairs, she to,d us that the sale had finished (despite the windows full of SALE signs and many items in the store ticketed at sale prices). We queried this but they were insistent. Had it not been for the red stickers disappearing, I would have accepted this but it was insinuated that we had imagined them! We were not regular customers but shall never step over,their doorstep again - unbelievable!
