The assigned cleaner outsourced their work so I never knew who would be coming to my home. And the customer service was terrible. There were so many hidden fees. Ended up paying 390 for a single cleaning/ending my membership early.
The worst cleaning service on the planet. They love to vacuum but can't seem to figure out how to clean anything. Horrible horrible horrible,I don't bother with them!
SCAM!! DECEPTIVE!! Homeaglow was not clear on their fees. I had, in writing, that I wouldn’t be charged until my 1st cleaning was completed, but there was a $39 charge on my debit card 24 hrs before my scheduled cleaning. I scheduled a 4 hr cleaning that was to be from 1-5. The cleaner was an hour late, and only stayed for 2.5 hrs. I received an email that Homeaglow was giving me .25 hrs credit voucher for not using my full 4 hrs. This should have been a voucher for 1.5 hrs. I reached out to customer support 3 times to get the voucher corrected with no response AND another charge to my card for $59. When I tried to cancel they wanted another $132 for early cancellation, and since I cancelled my debit card to avoid further fees, the cancellation request didn’t work. If I were to pay the cancellation fee, that 2.5 hr cleaning (which wasn’t thorough) would have cost me $232. Good luck collecting more money from me, Homeaglow!!
The worst company. Absolute scam. The cleaners never come and they charge more. They also reschedule just before and say there was a 'lockout' and charge you full price even though they never cleaned
I signed up for a one-time cleaning due to moving. Next thing I know my card is/was being charged bi-weekly. After learning that there is no customer support, I cancelled THEIR AUTOMATED selection of biweekly cleanings, and they are still charging my card. Will be filing complaints on every review website and will take legal action,
Terrible service. I needed to cancel my membership and they charged me $195.00.

The ladies that cleaned our home did their best, but it was not great. I explained our home in great detail and was upfront and honest about how huge the house is and how much work it would require. The come on Price is just that — a come on. As others have stated, My Husband and I were so upset to see that we were being charged $49 a month and when I asked to terminate our membership, we were told that we could not do so. To this day, I am paying for it and not receiving any cleaning services.
As others have said there is not a person to contact regarding customer service and canceling the $49 charge. Period in addition to that they just send cleaners and everyone hopes for the best.

This is a scam. Charged for full 5 hours of cleaning because I cancelled now. House was already clean and was asking for a detailed cleaning of bathrooms, floors and windows. I don't think that cleaner even spent 30 minutes.

I've had a poor experience with Homeaglow. They charged me for the 'Included' membership and intended to continue to charge me monthly. Their service prevented me from coordinating with the cleaner in real time and resulted in my needing to finish the tasks left undone. Their service response to my call for help was limited to 1 message every day, (the same delay as communicating with the cleaner), and ignoring the outrage of the deceptive charges.
I understand that they are facing a class action lawsuit for deceptive practices.
They say 6 month membership is included, then charge you $59 a month for that membership. It cost me the $59, (the initial charge), plus $70 more to cancel that membership.
The platform feels like it introduces an unnecessary delay in communicating with your cleaner. My cleaner did acceptable work, left after 4 of the 7 hours quoted. I wasn't charged for those 3 unused hours, but i had specifically asked that my cabinet doors be cleaned and floors moped. That didn't get done. 30 minutes after they left I contacted the platform to get them back to finish as my event was starting the next morning. Aside from the automated response, I heard nothing until after my guests had arrived the next day.
My experience, based on the class action lawsuit, doesn't seem to be a one time thing. I refuse to use them and recommend looking for a more responsive organization. They have under-whelmed me.
Taking money without permission. Multiple times
Cleaners were great, company is one of the shadiest I’ve ever experienced. The intro rate is a trap that you either have to pay them $160 to cancel or stay for 6 months. Once you complete the 6mo that rounds to 7 it is almost impossible to cancel. After the cancellation, they enable recurring cleanings without your knowledge. Barely noticed a cleaner had accepted a cleaning I was not aware of. I was able to find the setting in the settings area of my profile but incredibly shady which is half the reason I cancelled my membership. Sad and disgraceful. Concept would have been great with a more ethical company.
If I could give it a 0 star rating I would! The misleading pricing and mediocre service I was provided was a joke. I went back and forth with them to end my subscription for a few months and wasting over $300 by the time I was finally released. I need info if anyone knows about lawsuits against them for this. I can’t believe they’re still in business.
My mother hired homeaglow thinking that they were a reputable business. Cleaners came twice and the service was acceptable. But she decided to move on to another company. But for 2 years and counting my 95-yr-old mother has been trying to cancel her subscription and automatic payments. Despite many phone calls, support tickets on their website, and emails, the automatic withdrawals have not stopped. There are quite literally countless complaints about this very problem. Simply search online and there are a multitude of complaints and, apparently, lawsuits, about the issue. I feel for the employees---they're just trying to do a job. I hope they're not treated as shabbily as their customers.
This company is a scam. Their entire business model is to offer a very cheap cleaning, and within the terms of service they hide a recurring monthly fee that you are unable to cancel for half a year.
I've tried sorting this out with their customer support department, but have been unable to. STAY AWAY.

Deceptive practices. They sell you a $19 cleaning and then charge you for many things not mentioned in initial offer. Do not use this service. Very bad customer service.

Title: DECEPTIVE PRICING & HIDDEN SUBSCRIPTION TRAP – BEWARE!
Review Content:
Homeaglow uses deceptive marketing tactics to lure customers in with a "$19 whole house cleaning" offer, only to secretly enroll them in a monthly "ForeverClean" membership charged at $59/month without clear consent.
When I tried to cancel this unauthorized subscription, I found no direct way to do so on their website without being forced to pay an outrageous "early cancellation fee." Their customer support is non-existent—they don't answer phones and ignored my initial emails. Only after I escalated the issue did I receive a canned response from "Emma" trying to negotiate a smaller fee instead of providing the full refund I am entitled to.
This is not a professional cleaning service; it's a subscription trap designed to play games with your money. I have already reported this to my bank as an unauthorized charge and filed a complaint with the BBB.
STAY AWAY from this scam!
THE WORST I'VE HAD $19 FOR 1ST CLEANING NOT TRUE SHE CAME WITH NO SUPPLIES NOT EVEN A RAG I GAVE HER PAPER TOWELS AND SPRAY BLEACH THE MOTHER CAME INSTEAD OF THE DAUGHTER. THE WORST IS HOW THEY GO IN YOUR ACCOUNT AND TAKE WHAT THEY WANT. CANCEL MY CARD THEM AND THEY STILL TOOK MONEY NOBODY WILL RETURN A CALL BUT WILL E-MAIL YOU WITH THE SAME E-MAIL OVER AND OVER EVERY DOG HAVE THERE DAY AND THE WORST YOU ARE THE WORST YOU GET BACK TOUCH MY ACCOUNT AGAIN AND BBB HERE'S MY LAWYER TRULY WORKING FOR SATAN. LIES AND MORE LIES.

Previous problem: I’ve had two cancellations, no option for a cleaner that charges less than $30/hr. I pay a monthly fee plus hidden fees. They cannot accommodate my schedule, and have very few cleaners in my area. They threaten an additional $30/hr for previous cleanings and the first “free” cleaning (that actually cost the monthly plus fees) if I try to cancel before the 6mo commitment.
Update: Homeaglow contacted me. They let me out of the minimum commitment with no penalty, and offered a discounted monthly rate of $25/mo with a discount toward the next cleaning. They also refunded the monthly for Feb since I received no cleanings.
