Product came damaged. At first i was glad to have the Seel insurance that was non optional when checking out that said 100% guarantee product would come undamaged. However, the insurance did not want to reimburse me for the total amount. They said it was likely still functional and they would only reimburse 30%. Got stuck in a revolving door of automated emails threatening me to take 30% or get nothing. Also Homdiy took zero responsibility and said it wasnt there problem and i need to deal with the package insurance company.

I ordered a chandelier and would have rates it 3 stars. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the product and felt that wiring instructions for the complicated twelve-globe fixture should have been available. I raised my score because they’ve been responsive and are sending some replacement globes for free (just have to pay for shipping).

I recently purchased a lovely dining room chandelier but it arrived with one globe that was broken. Homdiy immediately responded to my email about the breakage and we are in the process of ordering a replacement globe. They have responded very quickly to my emails and kept in touch during this process which is very reassuring. I look forward to receiving the replacement soon.

I ordered an overhead light with a warm color temperature from this store for our kitchen. First, I did not realize that it would ship from China, so it took a month to arrive with limited tracking updates in between. Then when it arrived, my husband went through the trouble of installing it, just to discover that they had sent a light with a cool color temperature and it looked terrible.
I reached out to the company via email to return it for a refund because I didn't want to wait a whole other month just for it to potentially be the wrong light again, and at first they said, "Before proceeding with the return, we would like to suggest an alternative solution. Our products have a wide range of applications, and we wonder if you might consider keeping them for future use. If you agree to this suggestion, we would be delighted to offer you a 20% refund on the cost of the items. If the return is caused by the consumer, the consumer should be responsible for the shipping fee. The specific fee should be based on the express company you choose. Considering saving your time and money, is there any possibility you could keep them?"
Uhh no the return is NOT due to the CUSTOMER, it's because the COMPANY sent me the wrong product. And no, I don't want to use the light somewhere else. The cool light temperature looks terrible, and I can't think of anywhere that light belongs other than maybe a dentist's office.
So I pushed back and they offered to send a new product but, again, I didn't want to wait another 30 days, so I reiterated that I wanted a refund.
They did eventually refund me my money, so I am giving 1 star for that. Otherwise I would give zero stars. I have never before been told by a company who sent me the wrong product to try using it somewhere else and put the onus on me not to waste time and money.
I would not order from this company again.

I placed an order with HomDIY and attempted to cancel it within 24 hours, well within the timeframe allowed in their own cancellation policy, which states that a 20% restocking fee only applies after 24 hours. Despite this, I have received no response to my refund request.
There is no functional way to contact customer service, only a broken chatbot and an email address that no one appears to monitor. I’ve sent multiple messages and received zero replies.
This company is unresponsive, unreliable, and ignores its own stated policies. At this point, I will be filing a chargeback with my payment provider and reporting them to consumer protection agencies.
I demand a full refund immediately. Save yourself the frustration, do not order from HomDIY!

Terrible experience. The light I ordered took 2 months to arrive and doesn’t look anything like the image on the website. I have since googled this company and found that they have many other such complaints from customers and they have a no return policy.

My order is showing that the shipper created a label 22 days ago, on March 19, and package is waiting to be picked up by the carrier, which is UPS. I emailed helen, as this was shown as the only way to contact them, early Monday to check the status, and again 2 hours ago, and STILL NO response. I contacted UPS with the tracking number and they said to contact the shipper, as there hasn’t been a pickup time arranged yet! Where is my order?

I ordered three wall lamps that I really liked. I was very happy that they looked just as good (if not better) in person! I bought them last year for a new construction home and they are finally installed.
They are the perfect touch of simple elegance that the space needed.
My communication with costumer service (just to check on the delivery date) was efficient and was always responded timely and kinfly.
I'll definitely be back for more items in the future.

I ordered two light fixtures. One was damaged in shipping and the other has a manufacturer defect that will not allow the piece to hang straight. Also, the color is not as described. I purchased "worry free" insurance with my order. HOMDIY referred me to seel.com to handle the claim. They are offering 50% as manufacturer defects are not covered. This is very poor customer service.

I rarely write reviews but am so disappointed by the quality and service want to ensure others do not fall into the trap I have. I had no idea I was ordering from china or that returns would be to china. Ordered a pair of lights which took two months to arrive. On arrival one was faulty (not damaged),faulty - glue strip holding LED lighting had failed. Whilst I was offered a refund for this light (which I have not yet received) this was only after multiple emails to customer service and threatening to use credit card chargeback scheme. The remaining light whilst not damaged is of no use, they were brought as a pair and am deeply concerned about quality of product in view of the faulty one I received. I am constantly asked to send more photos of the products and never get any further. The only option offered has been 20% refund or to return the non faulty item at my own cost as not currently damaged! Despite multiple emails it has taken over a week to obtain a refund address which is in china! Not a UK company! Current situation - no bedroom lights that are useable as a pair, no refund for the faulty light and potentially having to stand cost of over £100 for a light which cannot be used in its own. Horrendous company to do business with.

Bad quality hardware. The lights could not be installed with attached hardware because it’s a thin bending aluminum that has to support the fixture and it’s simply doesn’t work. I had to go and buy normal hardware to install it because the return is the big hustle.

Twice I've asked for a refund and twice been denied.
I am now requesting the bank chase them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY to order lightning, there are plenty of other options available.
