We have used Collection Air France on two occasions.
We have used Collection Air France twice now...Mauritius in 2019 and the Dominican Republic in 2020. Both times we were delighted with the choice of hotels which were as described in the comprehensive original presentation. The journeys, both of which originated in our local airports in Brittany, passed without mishap.. the timings were perfect, with not too lengthy waits in Paris.
The airport transfers on the islands were efficiently organised and it was reassuring to have local representatives in the resorts if required. We opted for a half board option in Mauritius and the Dominican Republic hotel was all inclusive. Both hotels offered different dining experiences, therefore there was always plenty of choice.
With the La Collection website, I like the clear and expansive description of the voyage and conditions attached. I also appreciate the possibility of navigating/ comparing prices on different departure dates from different airports and for different periods of time. The system is clear and rapid from the comfort of your own home. The help line is also very efficient and friendly.
Each holiday option also gave us some ‘freebies’ ; a wedding anniversary gift, for example, a paréo in Mauritius, bottle of champagne etc ; these little extras were appreciated.
All in all we could not fault our travel experiences with La Collection ..and once we escape from the restrictions of Covid, I would not hesitate to use the company again.
