A bunch of crooks, Run from this.

Terrible company, definitely untrustworthy at best. I too, waited years for Bonjour in America. What I got is a product whose power adapter, which doesn't even have a ground, keeps falling out of whatever wall socket I put it in. The display randomly crashes and doesn't boot up unless I unplug it from the wall.

The app in beta for setting the alarms basically controlling everything and gives error messages in broken English doesn't even work, so it is basically just a hundred dollar clock.

They had a Kickstater for a "smart alarm clock" called Bonjour.

Long story short, they are over a year late in shipping. Their product is inferior to less expensive items on the market from more trustworthy companies. They have blatantly lied about where the money went. When pressed for refunds, they offered 50% refunds, then didn't respond to anybody who accepted those refunds. They then offered 25% refunds, and again didn't respond to people that accepted those. Now they say "the money is all gone", but the first 600 people (there are ~6000 people that paid them) are now getting their clocks - which don't work as promised.

The Bonjour Kickstarter project has been a bust from start to what I expect a very soon finish. They have shipped a product that neither does the basics well nor inspires any faith that they will improve the product. At least they are on the ball and ready to answer queries for those they have shipped in essentially a BETA test. Nope, they have gone off the radar and gone on holiday, failing to answer queries or issue quick updates. Utter utter shambles, save your money and get a product that works.

Only writing this review as I feel (like other investors) massively let down. Continuously moving project dates, complete lack of communication, and when communicating - never their fault. Product itself disappointing - I know it was a kickstarter project so you never know if it will succeed or not but you raised nearly $1m - how the product I have just received feels like a cheap plastic toy - I do not know, but it does. How a product with voice recognition is launched without voice recognition working is laughable. Spotify integration does not work properly - because you can't talk to the Bonjour Smart Alarm Clock without it telling me it does not understand!! All in all - a huge let down......

Lucky to get 1 star. I can't even power Bonjour Smart Clock up. Sold to Australians without an Australian power connection. Kickstarter project over a year late, communication dreadful, inconsistent and misleading.

Kickstarter campaigns from Holi have been utter failures. Holi lighting device was awful, Android app never fully developed. Bonjour smart alarm clock was delivered way past schedule, a half-baked product sent to production, which does not work to the extent promised. Voice recognition works less than half the time and is supposedly still in 'beta' even though it was the main reason for being about a year behind schedule. Kickstarter reviews are visible only to those who have backed the project, so no one will know how poorly designed it is BEFORE purchase unless they read 3rd party reviews. I will never support this company again. Customer service is reasonable but CSRs can't fix a bad device. User experience on the app is dismal. From their Kickstarter comments so far, nearly 100% of their backers are disappointed with the 'finished' product. The desire for a smart alarm clock exists, please wait until a proper company develops one.
