I have had two RICS Level 3 structural surveys carried out by Hogbens and have nothing but positive things to say about their professionalism, support and quality of work. Drew has been very communicative in explaining the options available and process, and efficient in organising available dates and times with multiple parties. Jack was incredibly thorough in his survey and customer care, calling me before and after the survey, asking about any particular areas of concern and then fully explaining the survey results and answering follow-up questions really clearly. The survey itself was put in accessible language with a great level of detail (including hundreds of photos!) and is very good value given the amount of expertise and time required. I would recommend Hogbens to any friends and family and would gladly use them again in future.

I used Hogbens Chartered Surveyors, Macclesfield for a RICS Level 2 Survey on a private property I was in the process of buying. The service received was excellent and it was easy to arrange the survey. A survey date was agreed with the property owners. James Hogben and his team were very professional and took time to review all aspects of the inside and outside of the house, and the grounds and reviewed all of the supplied services and equipment. Prior to the survey I was contacted to review any areas of concern and following the survey, there was an hour telephone call to fully review and understand all the findings from the survey. There was excellent communication throughout the whole process.
The report was extremely thorough and comprehensive and covered everything. Pictures were taken of all aspects of the property and services and a drone was used to get detailed photographs of the roof areas, soffits and chimneys and surrounding land. A very detailed and thorough report was submitted including a summary, overview, details of the condition of the property both inside and out, details of all the services, grounds and a comprehensive summary of the risks. I would very much recommend Hogbens Chartered Surveyors and would use them again should the need arise.
