Visited the cafe today, not for the first time. Previously I have been very happy with the food but I feel that I have to complain about the meal I had today. It was a special beef casserole priced at 14.99. There was hardly any beef in the dish and I felt robbed. I realise that I should have refused to accept it when it arrived and this was remiss of me . The staff were very busy and I didn't want to be a nuisance. I will visit again and hope that this was a one off.

We use this garden centre to meet friends and have a lunch booked a table for last Sunday. we ordered four different meals but they didn’t seem to be up to their normal standard. The fish and chips we ordered seem to have been pre-cooked and not cooked to order. What a shame.

They should change the name to hodgehill cafe, with plants.
They used to sell good tools, but they have dumbed the range down, no proper pull saws or sharpening tools anymore, yet the cafe n Christmas tat is taking over.

Florist, delicatessen, butcher, Baker, greengrocer, cafe and plant centre. Great range of foods lots of local products. Definitely worth going.
