HMSA's service sucks

HMSA's service sucks! They never answer their phone. Called these guys so many times my fingers got sore, with no success. $580 out of pocket on my wife's work insurance plan and these asshats changed a prescription that worked really well for me to the cheapest generic that gives me terrible tremors. Don't these guys rake in enough cash to leave on my original prescription.

Save your money. I wouldn't recommend HMSA.

My HMSA premiums were almost $500/month. Yet when I had a serious medical condition that doctors required lots of tests for, HMSA covered almost nothing. I called multiple times to try to sort it out and no one answered the phone after being on hold for up to 15 minutes, multiple times. Finally when someone answered she was pleasant enough but not helpful at all. It would have been cheaper for me to not have insurance this year and to have paid everything out of pocket because they covered so little of my monthly appointments and tests. .

I love my doctor

I love my doctor, but I hate the wait. One of the front desk clerks doesn’t even say goodbye before she hangs-up. I wish she had better etiquette.

A Lot of technical difficulties lately and it is Very Stressful to only have five minutes to get on, go through all of your unnecessary protocol and not have it Launch. Please fix. I am having resort to phone sessions with my practitioners.

Easy and Pleasant Experience

It was so easy and convenient to see a doctor right away online as opposed to sitting in a random doctor's office somewhere you aren't familiar with (as my family and I just moved to Maui in June). Pleasant experience!

So Easy

I had a sinus infection that got worse while I was at work. I used HMSA online care from my desk because my doctors office didn’t have an available appointment for three days and I didn’t feel like making the drive to Urgent Care. I spent about 15 minutes on the phone with the doctor and she sent my prescription to the pharmacy near my office. I was able to pick up my prescription 15 minutes later.

Got what I needed...now!

Convenient. Couldn’t get in to see my regular doctor. Knew what I needed and why. Great, short conversation/visit. Got what I needed!

Super Convenient

Super easy, super quick, super effective.
Got exactly what I needed (common cold evaluation) with minimal effort.
