Attention – Don’t waste your time with this seller!

I purchased a motorized UST screen that arrived defective, making it completely unusable (it deploys crooked, preventing proper image alignment). I reported the issue within 3 months of receiving the item, during its first setup. The screen had never been used before that.

Despite the 5-year warranty, the seller refused to cover return and shipping costs, which is a clear violation of EU consumer law for faulty products.

After offering me a partial refund (which I refused), I contacted the European Consumer Centre, which tried unsuccessfully to mediate for several months. The seller now refuses any refund, claiming it took too long, despite the fact that their delays and vague responses contributed to the prolonged process.

In summary: Faulty product, poor customer service, and refusal to honor legal obligations. Avoid this seller!

I bought the UST cut-out screen 120 inch for 399 euros (normally it was over 1000 euros). It was sold as new, but when it arrived it was a secondhand already used material. I contacted Hivilux and received a 15% discount.

However, I regret buying this piece of cloth. They sticked some black material on the outsides of the cloth, but do not know how to use it now. I only wanted a cut-out. And it is not as sturdy as I would hoped and for what I planned to use it for, it is useless. Waste of money. I wish I'd bought it at another place where new means really new!
