It's been said that the Hirbawi Black and White Kufiya is the most important scarf you'll ever wear. It is also the most beautiful, high-quality scarf you could ever find. I've been wearing a cheap black and white keffiyeh for the past 23 months and decided part of supporting Palestine is to buy Palestinian, and rectified the problem with my new Hirbawi. The difference between the two scraves is truly night and day. Although both the authentic and knock-off keffiyeh symbolize something so critical, the 100% cotton Hirbawi feels like silk (instead of starchy polyester cheesecloth like the imitations), and has the most intricate weaving and tassels. I can see the love and pride that went into making this beautiful scarf - it makes me a little emotional every time I put it on. I am absolutely buying the reverse black and white Hirbawi at the next restock, especially now that I know that it’s the cheap quality keffiyehs that have threatened the Palestinian textile industry for years.

For Canadians: The outside of the package was clearly marked as a Hirbawi Kufiya from Palestine, so no tariffs were charged to me at delivery even through the package shipped from the US.

Keffiyeh was great. Package came as quickly as could be expected considering I live in Canada.
