Himiway C5. Dont buy it.

We bought a Himiway c5, which we found out was a Big mistake.
The Himiway c5 is apparently only built to use on dry surface. When you drive on wet surface you get so much dirty water from the Road/surface on your whole backside (from ass to neck) and your frontside (from hips to chin).
The fenders front and back are so short than they dont help anything. They are for no use.
The wide tires makes its much worth than a normal bike and bings to much water/dirt on you.
When I wrote to Himiway about the problem they just make fun of the problem and the answer were that he could use raincoat !! Who wants to bike around in a raincoat of its not raining, But younhave to do everytime there is just a little rain on the Road.
What an answer from a Company. Apparently they dont Care about the costumers.

Best Support

I can only describe Himiway support as extremely courteous and helpful. Many thanks to Freya from support, who was able to help me with the defective charger this time. My issue was resolved promptly and to my complete satisfaction. I would buy a Himiway eBike again anytime.

Es werden hochqualitative Pedelecs mit einem ungewöhnlich guten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis angeboten. Andere Anbieter können hier nicht mithalten. Teurer ist nicht automatisch besser.

Der Support hat sich inzwischen sehr gut entwickelt. Die erste Reaktion erfolgt mindestens am nächsten Arbeitstag meistens schneller.
Der Support hat inzwischen eine Methode entwickelt mittels sehr exakt gestellter Fragen und der Anforderungen von Fotos oder Videos vom möglichen Schadenbild über Tausende von Kilometern hinweg sehr gute Diagnosen zu stellen.
Bei der Bereitstellung von Ersatzteilen ist man sehr kulant.

The support has developed very well in the meantime. The first response is usually quicker, at least on the next working day.
The support has now developed a method of making very good diagnoses by asking very precise questions and requesting photos or videos of possible damage over thousands of kilometers.
The company is very accommodating when it comes to providing spare parts.

Himiway A7 pro and customer service

The best bike ever. I bought two A7 pro at Himiway.de, one for my wife and one for me for ridding and to go to work. The comfort is a very high level one, you barely feel the road.High quality equipment and very powerful motor.
The customer service is one of the best I have ever meet. They follow each demands to its end, and are very patient to help you in order you feel satisfied.
If you buy one you will never regret it. I hope that will help you, if you’re thinking to buy one.
A specially thanks to Evan’s at the customer service! He plays a great role in the Himiway reputation and quality of service to the customer. So Himiway if you hear me, try to keep him in your team!

Himiway Zebra - Excellent

Bought this so I could switch from road bike to canal tracks and such.
Also I needed something to offer assistance so that I could make my ride time longer and get more exercise.
It arrived well packaged and took just a few minutes to assemble using the tools provided.
It’s my first e-bike and I’m really impressed by the Himiway Zebra. It is exactly what I wanted and needed. The saddle is comfortable even without cycling shorts, the display is clear and tells you everything you need to know. I find the different levels of assistance coupled with being in the correct gear gives me exactly the right amount of help.
I’ve done a 35 mile ride on rough terrain and at 18st I thought I’d be pushing the battery life but not even close, I had 3 of 5 bars still showing.
Good looking bike with a hidden integrated battery.
I’d recommend this to anyone looking for an e-bike.

I absolutely love my himiway cruiser I…

I absolutely love my himiway cruiser I use it every day on my commute to work, the battery lasts really well. I'm a big guy and the motor gets me up Even the steep hills with minimum effort I'm a UK buyer so the throttle only works up to 6 kilometers which I did not know when I got it. Thinking it would be a twist and go but the motor help so much you don't need it be. And the throttle helps you get started even on a hill start very happy with my bike

I just happened upon this page as I was looking for some accessories for my Escape Pro.
Wow, surprised at the disappointment in the Himiway experience. I don't work for or being paid by Himiway. I just wanted to tell my story about how my escaper pro has impacted my life. I had knee replacement surgery in April of 2022 and it's been a journey in recovery. I moved to Tucson AZ. to retire and my knee was still a bit sore and tight when I woke up. I decided to buy a bike to give me some exercise and range of motion. I researched a lot on bikes and then decided to buy an e-bike as a means of exercise and the second mode of transportation. I'm sure glad I got this particular e-bike. I just have had a really great experience in my physical and social life because of this purchase. I have made cycling friends and have started to do 20-mile rides. What I found with e-bikes was the fact you can adjust the amount of physical exertion you wish to spend. It's also nice to be able to start riding a bike with a little more assistance to get you going.
So for all those out there still deciding to make a large investment go ahead and take the step. I'm a senior and have had no trouble with the bike or the company.

It's all about the battery. Fix this problem. Because the most important problem...

I bought the bike, but unfortunately the leather steering wheel has a hole in it. Then the bike was shipped. And I went on a journey. The journey was long, because I am confident that the bike would travel a distance of 128 kilometers with the pedal working. What happened was that the battery that was fully charged only traveled 40 kilometers. Then it stopped charging, and even after that I asked for help from a friend to come and pick me up because the bike was very heavy and a young man who plays bodybuilding and wrestling could not pull it or ride it and step on it... It was a huge disappointment. Then I said try it again. There were hills on the road. Here the bike stopped and did not take me up the hills, and I only covered 38 kilometers after charging the battery.... I mean, they lie about everything. I called the company and sent them an email explaining everything that happened to me. Now I am waiting for them to send me a battery.... I am waiting for how long, I do not know. Will they believe it this time or not???!!!!!!.......

This bike is quite heavy. Without a battery, no one can ride it, even strong athletes. Therefore, you must send more than one battery with each bike. Without burdening the bike owner with the hassle of paying for the battery. Because the customer trusted you that the bike will cover 128 kilometers while pedaling. But the truth is something else. You must bear the responsibility, not the customer

The important thing is to send four batteries so that they can be friends with the customer. When you brag and say in your ads that it covers 128 kilos. You must take responsibility. Note: Don't think the customer will be happy if you send him four batteries. On the contrary, the customer will be frustrated because there is no room on the bike to carry 4 batteries. The customer must purchase bags to put the two batteries in, which means another cost. You should send the batteries with bags to be placed on the bike... If you are honest with me about the bike, it will travel 128 kilometers after charging the battery with pedaling... Or you should not lie from the beginning and not involve the customer in purchasing a heavy item and then regretting it. Buying such a bike is a failure.

Customer service? you are joking.

Ordered my Himiway Cruiser after much research, this ebike looked great value, so I ordered one. After 5 months it finally arrived only to find the motor didn't work. Reported this to Himiway immediately and their response was virtually non existent, they didn't want to know, after my much repeated hassling to their customer service in Germany?? (really) they asked me to make a YouTube video of the problem showing the bike not working. They still didn't believe me (thanks Jasbo, you are useless) so luckily I paid with paypal so I opened a case against them, only then did I get a response. They tried repeatedly to get me to close the case, DO NOT DO THIS. They promised a replacement part which they said they had sent, only it was stuck in their shared warehouse in Poland. You are best shopping around for another bike supplier, because if your bike arrives broken you will have a battle on you hands to get your bike fixed...Sorry Himiway but you deserve this review

I paid for a bike that was never…

I paid for a bike that was never delivered. Their site guaranteed shipment in 2-3 days, after 2 months of waiting I received an email from himiway asking me to post a review on my bike. Himiway insisted I had my bike and after some back and forth the realized they never shipped it.

Then I waited another month and no bike, this time they said my bike was back ordered, but asked it I can leave a positive review, I declined because obviously I don't have the bike.

I finally got frustrated and tried to cancel my order, that's where this went from frustrating to flat out enraging.

Himiway wants to charge 8% for cancelled orders, but in the US you can't charge that fee when items don't ship on time they acknowledged that but then said give us 4%, didn't ask, told me, give us 4%.

I cancelled through my CC company and got all my money back, now I've received several emails from himiway rudely telling me to reorder my bike as they are in stock again, not asking but telling me.
