The online portal is useless for…
The online portal is useless for anything other than paying a bill or ordering waste bags. The portal sends you around in circles. The on-line "help" is a waste of time and do not seem to now how the portal operates for end users.
No way of arranging an out of hours…
No way of arranging an out of hours service for noise or other issues on weekends until 9 PM this allows individuals to have builders working all weekend on vacant residences with no enforcement. Even when enforcement are advised to do not act or liase with planning either.
A lot of claims about green flags and low council tax for retirees but it seems to be smoke and mirrors.
Hillingdon Borough online system …
Hillingdon Borough (LBH) has an online reporting service via their web page - which in the main is useless unless you are doing something simple like ordering recycle bags. For other more important issues, the day team, or the team dealing with the online entries seem to close down cases regarding anything important such as noise or complaints without even a follow-up...... I also have had no follow up with IT issues on my login account which I've also reported online. I do believe LBH are in the middle of updating their online system so I hope it improves. But the old system in place since I moved into the Borough 8 years ago is flawed as it just does not cater to help people that cant ring in 9-5 as they work shifts and need to use online reporting. There seems to be no follow up or care for those issues that are reported online. They ''close'' cases without any contact with the customer. I am sure the staff are doing that for stats to look good as in low cases 'still pending' and for customer service records to look as if cases are solved. But those stats and records will then not true. LBH need to be aware of this. I am also disappointed with the noise team, I was told by officers on a call out that there are only 2 people on call out on weekends to cover the entire borough. Unrealistic and unfair on 300k + residents.
