Poor customer service and no delivery

When I exchanged one pair of shoes for another, they failed to let me know that it had run out of stock. I waited several weeks and had to email customer support. I couldn't even make an account to check my order details. Besides that, the user interface is needlessly complicated every time refreshing and reloading pages when filters are selected. Overall disappointing. Take your money to where they care about their customers and actually doing what they say they're going to do.

Terrible

These shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes I have EVER worn. That have absolutely zero cushion or support. The insole is just flat. I was very disappointed and wondering why so many buy these. This must be a follow the leader situation “Look at me, I am cool now thing” These shoes are not worth the money they charge.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. No help at all. I placed an order and fat fingered my address by one number and 5 seconds later they couldn’t fix it because it was “already on the system!?” Well yea it’s in the system, I ordered it but I know it can be changed but no one wanted to help. Super frustrating and lazy people.

Quality has gone downhill

My issue with this company is that the quality of their shoes has tanked, bad. They are uncomfortable and wear out super fast. Years ago when I got my first pair they held up, my feet felt cushioned.. not anymore. I’m no longer buying hey dudes

I would give a zero if possible on exchange policy

I would give a zero if possible. I ordered them ahead of time for our son-in-law for Christmas, they sent the size in UK, not US, so by the time the holiday got here and he put them on they were too large due to being UK not US size. All we wanted to do was exchange them and they wouldn't. Not a company I would do business with again and would not recommend to any one.

Very frustrated

I bought 2 pairs of the hey dude boots when I received my order they sent me one pair of boots and one pair of toddler shoes. When I called customer service they said I had to do the return and they couldn't send me the ones I already paid for. I bought them for vacation and I can't believe they messed up my order at the shipping department and I am being punished for there mistake. They said there's nothing they can do..

Hey Dude deploys deceptive business practices to obtain email addresses and mobile phone numbers by offering discounts. They lead the consumer to believe the discount is valid for the purchase of shoes you are considering on their website. Hey Dude requests your email, mobile number before they send a discount code. During checkout the code is rejected stating the shoe is not subject to a discount.

I ordered a pair of boots back in Nov and still waiting

I ordered a pair of boots back in Nov, 2023. Once received, I set up a exchange request for a different size. I got a confirmation number from Hey Dude to return my purchase in exchange for a different size. It is now January 8th and they just literally processed my exchange. Their customer service is a 0-I sent 5 emails requesting a response to my request about my exchange with no response whatsoever from them. I finally found a phone number and spoke to someone who told me that my order for the exchange would be processed on December 28th. It is now January 8th and I just spoke to Lyn, who gave me a new confirmation # for my exchange and told me that I should see my purchase in about 2 weeks. While I like their product, they need to sit down and read all the customer complaints about the lack of customer service. Cheryl

hey dudes giving the customer the run around

ordered a pair of hey dudes for a gift in November. When they arrived I stored them to be gifted on Christmas. When they were opened, it was then realized I got mens size sent to me instead of women's. While trying to return the shoes, I never received an answer until a day after my return window closed. Once the window was closed, they the tried to tell me I only had 30 days to return the shoes (which was a lie because their own website reads 45 days)

Christmas ruined

I ordered my wife some Alabama crimson tide hey dude shoes from their website as a Christmas present. When they arrived they were not Alabama shoes but Clemson tiger shoes. I called customer service but they won't do anything over the phone except tell you sorry for the inconvenience and direct you to the exchange portion of the website so they are absolutely no help whatsoever. If they even send the correct shoes, which judging from these reviews will probably never happen, they will never make it in time for Christmas.

Worst experience online shopping

This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I tried to order a Christmas gift ahead of time, but I ended up receiving shoes in the wrong color. Despite making four calls to customer service and returning the item for an exchange, the situation only worsened. They assured me they would send the correct color, but told me the order had been changed to a size three times too big. The replacement eventually arrived in the right size, but once again, it was the wrong color. I've decided to stop attempting exchanges because it appears this company is incapable of fulfilling orders accurately.

So did the online chat was told the only thing I could do is return them for an exchange or order another pair and then return the wrong pair. I explained this was a Christmas gift and either way I wouldn't have them for Christmas. This was the only thing my Grandson had asked for. As I'm replying via the chat a message pops up asking me if I am still there and then disconnects me, even though you know they can see the little dots showing I'm typing. So called customer service again was told that I could exchange or buy another pair, again I explained that this was for a Christmas gift and I wouldn't have them by Christmas. I then asked for a Supervisor, was put on hold and when he came back I was old all Supervisors were busy helping other customers. He offered tp have someone call me back within 2 hours, I told him I would hold, was put on hold for 10 minutes then told still all Supervisors were busy. Also let me add it sounded like there was a party going on in the background. I told him I would still hold after holding for another 20 minutes I finally hung up. Went on Amazon found the exact pair of Hey Dudes I was looking for, ordered them and will have them by Saturday. I have sent back my return so we'll see how long that takes. Let me add the ONLY reason I still bought the Hey Dudes is because that is all he asked for, guarantee I will Never order them again, and will tell everyone I know NOT to order these!!!!!

Scammers with a capital S-C-A-M-M-E-R-S

I wear size 10.5 D, and ordered and paid for 2 pairs of size 11 shoes. I was only shipped one pair. Apparently, their stock is subject to change very quickly and they don't have a good handle on what is in stock "real time" when you order. That was the least of my problems. The one pair of shoes arrived within 5 days marked as size 11, but are no bigger than size 10 and have an A or B width. They are cloth, so there is no break-in, they are simply not well sized AT ALL and wouldn't fit either in the length or width of my foot, even when buying a 1/2 size larger. I don't have trouble with shoes that are not labeled by width and only come in length sizes, ever. These are just very poorly made and sized for thin feet only. Apparently, they do offer WIDE sizes, but don't tell you this until you contact customer service and its not evident from their website. The kicker comes when you ask for refund on a Final Sale item. They don't normally do refunds on Final Sale items, period! They simply can send whatever they like and you are stuck with it unless it's their fault. As I started to research how a company could function SO poorly and still be in business, I found some very, very troubling reviews and a BBB score of "F". It's hard to get an F from BBB unless you are simply corrupt. Further, they are being sued in different courts for corruption and fraud, and hiding negative reviews. One articles says "Online Shoe Seller Hey Dude, Inc. to Pay $1.95 Million for Violating FTC’s Mail, Internet, and Telephone Order Rule and Suppressing Negative Consumer Reviews", while on Yahoo I saw, "Hey Dude Shoes Fined $1.95 Million for Misleading Shoppers". This is not the kind of company you should do business with. They have proven to be no friend of the community and instead prey on them to scam unsuspecting shoppers. Life it too short than to have to deal with Charlatans like this. Their mommas didn't raise reputable people! Highly suggest you find someone else to buy shoes from.

HEY DUDES, I'M A RIPOFF

Unbelievable company should be called "HEY DUDES, I'M A SCAM ". I purchased 2 pairs of shoes in October, 2023. I am a half-size and it said to size up one size for proper fit. When my shoes arrived they were too big.I requested an exchange and they emailed me a shipping label very quickly. I sent them back and it has been more than 5 weeks and no shoes. I have sent 4 emails to the only contact info I can find. With no response.

Return and Exhange Process is Archaic

I would give them zero stars but I was required to give 1-5. After making a return I didn’t hear anything from them for 13 days. I finally gave up and used Live Chat where I was told my item was returned to the warehouse but after receipt it takes them 10 business days (not counting weekends) to “process”! I’ve never heard of such a thing.

Then to make matters worse I had to ask about my exchange and things went bad to worse. WhIle I had filled out an exchange form online I was told I had to contact them back after tomorrow (the 10 day business mark) to request an exchange. I asked why and was told they don’t process the exchanges without it. what?! what is the point in the form and how would I as a consumer know I had to do this! I asked all of these questions and was told I’m sorry. Anything else you need two more times.

At this point I asked to just refund my money. I was told again I can’t just ask for a refund. I have to recontact them tomorrow. Upon this insanity I told them I would not. I honestly feel this is their way of keeping the refund and hoping customers forget about it.

I’ve bought no less than 7 pairs of Hey Dudes for my boys. Never again.
