I am genuinely frustrated and disappointed with our recent experience, as it was completely different from the event I originally booked and paid for.

I purchased two £125 tickets for the Paul Scholes event as a surprise gift for my partner. I had even booked a stay at the Football Hotel, and he had absolutely no idea that he was about to meet his idol, Paul Scholes. I was so excited to finally reveal the surprise as we arrived downstairs for the event.

Then, just 30 minutes before it started, we were informed that Paul Scholes would no longer be attending and had reportedly chosen to go on a stag weekend instead of honouring the event and the fans who had paid to see him.

What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of communication beforehand. The organisers claimed an email had been sent, yet neither we nor most people at our table received any notification at all — not even in junk or spam folders.

To add further frustration, the event was still being advertised online as a Paul Scholes evening on the day itself. Many people had travelled, booked hotels, and brought memorabilia expecting to meet him, only to be left disappointed at the last minute.

For £125 per ticket, this represented extremely poor value for money. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and absence of any meaningful follow-up from the organisers was highly unprofessional.

Sadly, this experience has completely damaged our confidence in booking with this company again, and I would strongly advise others to think carefully before spending significant money on future events.

Ordered a signed shirt off the site for my collection, arrived next day delivery
came with photo proof and COA would recommend to any collectors communication was spot on from order placed to delivery

I received an email on the 1st April telling me that the event i had booked for Paul Scholes had changed to Antonio Valencia. I bought these as an xmas gift for my boyfriend. When we arrived my boyfriend said it wasn’t a bad change, and we really enjoyed the event as it was different to others we have been to and someone who’s not been doing many of these events.

I am extremely disappointed with our recent experience, which was far from the event we were expecting. Having purchased Platinum tickets at £190 each as Christmas presents for the Paul Scholes event, we arrived only to find flyers on the table announcing c as the replacement speaker. There was no prior communication regarding this change; the organisers said an email was sent however it never reached our inbox or spam, and almost no one else at our table had received it either. Having looked on their website the evening was still advertised as Paul Scholes. Many attendees, including ourselves, had brought Paul Scholes shirts or merchandise to be signed, leading to a flat and frustrated atmosphere. For such a high price point, the event was not worth the money, and the lack of follow-up from the organisers is unprofessional. I would be very reluctant to book with this company again.

Amazing event with great perks and chance to meet your heroes

I booked and paid a high price for three Gold tickets to a Paul Scholes Event on the 9th April. The tickets were a birthday present for my Father who particularly wanted to see Paul Scholes having been a life long fan. Upon arriving at the event last night we were told Scholes had cancelled and been replaced by Antonio Valencia and we were bitterly disappointed. The whole point of attending was to see Paul Scholes . Apparently a mail was sent out advising that Scholes had cancelled which I never received and upon taking to other people there last night they didn't receive it either .... I wonder why!!
Whilst we have nothing against Valencia he answered all questions in Spanish which then had to be translated into English and the volume was so low we couldn't even hear the answers....
He was not entertaining and it was certainly not the evening we had paid for.
The whole event was a complete disappointment and for the cost of the tickets appalling value.
I would not recommend attending these events.

Attended the event last night which was originally with Paul Scholes but we were notified by email a week beforehand that he'd had to cancel so it would be Antonio Valencia instead. To be fair, considering it was at such short notice, it was a very good night with a United Legend doing his first night of this kind & telling stories about himself & the club that were innovative & not the same as are repeated by others on the circuit.
Well done to the organisers & Antonio for putting on such an entertaining night for the attendees especially after seeing later on that Mr Scholes had let down everybody at short notice to allegedly attend a stag party?

We were at the event last night with Antonio Valencia, and what a brilliant event, he was so great, Thank you Pete Royle you smashed it again, it should have been Paul Scholes but this was 10 times better no doubt, we got an email telling us that Scholes had cancelled on them (shame on him) and I’m so happy we chose to go, I didn’t hear anyone complain, everybody loved it , I give heroes and legends 10 out of 10 and no doubt we will be coming to more events by heroes and legends

With very short notice heroes and legends put on a very good night with Antonio valencia and i throughly enjoyed the night from the fingerless magician to the very end . Well done to the team on like I said such short notice

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the event last night, which was advertised as featuring Paul Scholes.
While queuing for entry, a member of staff announced that Paul Scholes would no longer be attending and had been replaced by Antonio Valencia. This was the first time many attendees, including myself, had been made aware of this change. It was mentioned that an email notification had been sent in advance; however, after checking my inbox thoroughly, I did not receive any such communication and others around me did not receive the email too.
I purchased these tickets for £250 as a Christmas present, specifically because of the opportunity to see Paul Scholes. The last minute substitution significantly impacted the value and experience of the event for me.
I am particularly disappointed that there was no option offered for a refund or to transfer the tickets to a future event, despite the major change to the advertised lineup.

Really disappointing experience. We paid £250 to see Paul Scholes, but when we arrived at the event, the guest speaker had been changed to Antonio Valencia.

There was no prior email or communication to inform us of this change, and no option to get a refund or transfer our tickets to another event.

Over 300 people were left frustrated and let down on the day due to the lack of communication and organisation.

I would not recommend booking with this company again.

The arrangement and organisation is simply amazing. Nice food, great venue & Great guest speaking at Hotel Football. The organiser has vast amount of experience and connection with Man United backroom stuff & ex-players to ensure the event can be carried out smoothly and exceptionally. Applauds !!

What an amazing night! From start to finish it was so well organised, with the friendliest hosts and great venue.
A special thank you goes to Pete and Lesley who made our night extra special by taking the time to get to know us, adding a personal touch. Lesley even gave us a little something extra for our little girl after I had told her how much she loves Man U!
Do not miss these events, Heroes and Legends are a fantastic company who will provide you with a night to remember.

It was superbly organised and very enjoyable, We had VIP tickets and it was well worth the money. Gorgeous food, free bar, a gift bag, and lets nit forget the stars of the show. Giggsy and the superb Alan Keegan. This is my 2nd one and i plan to do more. Well done Heroes and Legends.

I saw the 5-a-side event advertised on Instagram and after some deliberation went ahead and booked it for my husband's birthday gift. I am so glad I did! It was honestly worth every penny.

Attention to detail was great, my husband received 2 signed shirts as gifts which was an unexpected bonus. The shirt he played in was embroidered with the date of the match. There was a dedicated photographer and also we have been promised a highlights video too - again, unexpected touches which all added to the experience.

The organisers were so helpful at every stage, both before and during the event. Communication was excellent. Pete is a top guy - very genuine, kind and clearly just wants people to enjoy the events. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of the event - Ryan Giggs was welcoming and friendly, more than happy to chat and have a photo, the atmosphere was just spot on. Could not have been better. The only complaint from my husband was his aching muscles in the days following!!

We would certainly recommend this company to anyone we know - thanks so much to everyone involved for such a memorable, brilliant event. We hope to attend other events in the future for sure.

Bought this for my partner’s birthday. Pete was brilliant from start to finish and always had time to answer all my questions. The evening with Ryan felt incredibly exclusive and Ryan was very patient and ensured that everything we wanted signing was signed. The players pretty much played the whole time with very few subbing - my partner was shattered but happy afterwards! Ryan was even kind enough to have a little kick about with my 10 year old son who came fully kitted up in the hope he would also get to join in at some point. The whole evening was very well organised and much better than we could have anticipated. The price is quite high but absolutely worth it. So if you’re unsure, you should definitely do it. In fact, we are already looking at joining more events with Heroes and Legends. Great company!! Thanks again Pete for everything!

The event was run fantastic from start to finish, we had photos with ryan on the roof top of hotel football 1 hour match and a penalty shootout which was great fun.
Burger and chips after the match which went down a treat.
What made the night special was the kits provided with the game details on which was a nice touch and keepsake especially with Ryan signing it for me.
Definitely will be on the next one keep it up guys.

5 a side with a legend of the premier league Ryan Giggs at a venue with the best pitch in the uk with some fantastic scenery along with a well organised set up from start to finish made to feel welcome with Ryan Giggs on spending time with just about every one involved which made it extra special the playing time was just right then afterwards Ryan posed for photos plus signed lots of items which was brilliant a nice touch by the event organiser with the home n away Man U shirts that was just class to me the whole event was icing on the cake has I missed out on the one before but was determined not to miss out a second time the game was played in good spirits also being filmed with the grand finale a penalty shootout out just to top the night off with some food which was grand also the players chatted afterwards everyone just buzzing about taking part .

The Ryan Giggs 5 aside was unbelievable from start to finish, All players were given a 1999 jersey to wear one side the away 1999 shirt, one side the home 1999 shirt for the game with match details of the night on the front so we could take them home after the game. Everyone had adequate time before the game with Ryan in the players room for selfies and autographs. We also then got a photo upstairs on the rooftop pitch with the Fa Cup trophy by a photographer with Old Trafford at night in the background.
Games were perfect with Ryan playing for both teams and all players getting the chance to play with and against the legend himself. The game had players of different levels which was great all enjoying playing football with the legend himself. It finished with a peno shoot out and then burger and chips which hit the spot and a chat about the game. Can't wait to see the video from the videographer which is an added bonus as we get to keep this memory for life. Fair play to Pete and Ryan who made a young kids day at the end of the game also unexpectedly. Us big kids were delighted to be on the same field as Ryan.
These little extras added to the game. Once in a lifetime opportunities. Thanks and I will keep my eye on the next events .
