Just to reiterate previous reviews. This company is a scam - it does not find your mobile for you. The problem is, of course that they now have bank details, and I am concerned least they sell these on. If, like me, you've fallen for their spiel, then I'd advise taking my bank's advice, and cancelling your card.

Appalling company who claim they will assist you in finding your mobile for a £1 and then charge almost £30 claiming this was clear on their web site. It is not and don't fall for it when in a panic about losing your mobile.

Avoid, don’t use. It only costs a pound for the initial service. That isn’t much but it doesn’t actually work or help to find your phone. If you are looking for a lost phone then you will be more concerned with finding it than reading the finer points of the contract. Under the small print of the T&Cs of sign up they will charge another £29.90 about three days later and if you don’t cancel they will keep doing it every month.

How has the internet or banks got this website shut

Like previous reviewers saw this company top of google list having lost mobile phone. Used the service logged on saw map and information phone had been located and in box waiting for reply. Called customer service who explained someone on phone needs to answer it. I said how can I answer my own phone if i lost it.
Poinless service thought Id only lost a pound. 2 days later my wife noticed £29 gone from account. Phoned customer service ranted got subscription cancelled and refund.
Complete scam relying on panic when you lose your phone.

Do not use this company massive scam. They mislead you by stating they require £1.00 to register for them to track the phone. Nowhere does it say they will take £29.90 per month for the service!!! Furthermore they didn't even track the phone so there was no service!! I will be reporting this as fraud. I called the "customer service" team and spoke to a man called John who started laughing at me when I made the complaint.

I realised in the nick of time they had me signed up to a monthly subscription. If i'd waited a day longer they would have taken £29.99 out of my account. So I rang them and cancelled my subscription which was done immediately.
I didn't get what I paid for either which was to trace the location of a mobile number.
At least I only lost a £1 but the site is a dreadful scam. How they stay in business I don't know.

Don't every use this company... they are terrible and the service is very very poor

It states that it costs £1 to find your phone. You pay with your credit card. They then send an email with a log in. The url is invalid. You then need to ring to cancel subscription if don't they will take £29 out of your account. Scam company

Used HelpMobi to track my lost phone. Misleading website as they take your £1 & then say they do not track lost phones & without realising you are signed up for a monthly subscription of £29.90 per month. Initially refused to refund but don't give up. I attached a copy of their refund policy, reminded them of my 14 day cooling off period & asked for their address as I would be taking this further. A few days later i received my refund.

The helpmobi.io website is misleading and it is only if you scour the small-print will you find that they cannot find 'lost' phones.

Fortunately, I was able to unsubscribe from the subscription service before they took any money and have raised an issue with my credit card provider.

Have also reported them to Action Fraud in the hope that enough complaints will get this suspicious outfit taken down.

EDIT - have just received a response from this outfit - around 18 months after I complained. Need I say any more?

FURTHER EDIT - I have read the message from Trustpilot again and it appears that if I do not respond (in a way acceptable to Helpmobi), then my review will be taken down.

And judging by the other reviews here, it would appear that I am far from being alone. Let's hope their site gets taken down!

Avoid at all costs. Four payments of over 29.00 were taken from my account. At no time had I taken out an account with them. A disreputable and fraudulent site who should not be operating.

Scammers. Taking your money but never receiving the service. Then try to scam you through monthly subscription
They haven't even got the balls to respond to all this negative reviews.

As everyone else says. This company are absolute filth. Their t&c’s state as per below!?

7. Refund
7.1 If you are not satisfied with the Services please contact us at contact@helpmobi You may be eligible for refund if you cancel your subscription within fourteen (14) days after your first registration for the monthly subscription plan.

7.2 No refund will be provided for the Subscription Period calculated in hours. If your first subscription was calculated in hours and you switched to monthly subscription, 14 days period is calculated from the moment of switching to monthly subscription.

7.3 Refund may only cover your last payment made to us. Refunds beyond the 14-day purchase window will be considered, in our sole discretion, only if User can demonstrate that the Service was not available or usable during the Subscription Period and that reasonable attempts were made to contact us to resolve the issue. In this case, Helpmobi may provide the User with a pro-rata refund of Service fees paid during the period the Service was not available or usable.

I sent helpmobi an email with the above refund policy and they have agreed to refund me the £29.90

Claimed to find lost phones, they did not, got my card details for a £1. I realised my mistake and cancelled my card before they could take any more money.

This site is a complete scam.
After I paid £1 for nothing this site charged me £30 a few days later. Even if you cancel the subscription right after the charge and call customer service there is no change for a refouns. Just avoid it

I should have read Trustpilot before engaging with this company. Seems they are not to be trusted.

Absolutely disgraceful company. They did absolutely nothing, then charged mr a premium rate of £30 3 days later. It's very confusing that you don't see you only have 3 days to cancel the account.

And now they try and contact me 2 years later to "resolve" any issue. I don't think so.

Do not trust this site. They do not find your mobile. They take £1 from your credit card and the next day take £29.90.

Total rip off merchernt avoid at all costs thort i had lost my phone so it says pay a £1 to find it wich dident even work and tben 2 days after takes £30 out total robbing scum avoid at all costs they aught to be shut down or even better burnt down utter utter scum bags
