Took some QC20 headphones in on Tuesday 10th September for a replacement battery, and they looked on their mobile for a while and said yes okay, we will contact you if we are unable to get into the device.
They then lectured me on they do not use eBay due to the quality of the items and I said okay and left it with them.
Friday 13th Sept, I rang and spoke to a young man who told me the owner would call me back asap. To date they have not rung back.
Today 17th Sept, I went into the store to enquire how it was progressing.
The owner proceeded to tell me they had damaged the item in two places while opening it, and they were waiting for the battery to arrive in before fitting.
I asked how long that may take and after checking the owner stated he had not ordered the battery at all, and I would need to order one from eBay.
I frustratingly stated I could have ordered that battery a week ago if I had known and the owner proceeded to push the headphones into my hand and asked me to leave the store, while then attempting to blame me.
Frankly if a store is not capable of repairing an item they should say so from the start and not waste peoples time, or try to blame the customer for it, when they have failed.
I now have an opened and damaged item, without a replacement battery.
So after visiting helpivebrokenit.co.uk, I am worse off than I was before I went.
