Many many thanks to barllet solicitors, they help me to get my deposit back from my landlord.they are really helpful and understanding people.thanks to there staff.they guide me every step of through out my case.

Excellent support and guidance, we wouldn't have acheieved the result we got without the support, it's a scary experience to go through, we attended court twice due to an exceptionally difficult landlord. We wouldn't have been able to do this without he support of help for tenants and especially Krisjan, who took the time to ensure I had a clear understanding of what was happening.

I won my case and communication was good. My case solicitor was friendly and professional:

Joe Smith was wonderful and helped me to break a lease on the grounds of disrepair. I was in a terrible situation living in a mouldy flat due to a leaking roof and my health had taken a nose dive, which the landlord refused to remedy. Joe was successful in securing an end to the lease and compensation for the rent I paid while unable to live in the property due to risks to my own health. I would recommend Joe to anyone in a similar situation.

My landlord didn’t return my deposit when I vacated the property. I was advised that the best way forward was to focus on the fact that he hadn’t protected my deposit.

It took six months but in the end I got my money and £800+ in damages after an out of court settlement.

I was told from the start that everything in the law is quite slow so if you are in a hurry you are likely to get stressed. You are expected to fill in a few forms giving details of your complaint. This isn’t too hard – but will take a bit of effort. Bartletts gave advice about how to do this
There were no hidden charges, the advice was good, and the communications were clear. The only slight issue was that when my Landlord moved without giving me his address I was told it was my responsibility to trace him. They advised I could do it myself or use an agent (£80).

The service from Bartletts was good I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get justice without having to be an expert themselves.

When I first had issues with my landlord I didn't know where to turn. When i decided to seek advice I surprised how common my issues were and bartletts were extremely helpful. It's was no hassle and I managed to get the outcome I had hoped. I would recommend bartletts to anyone who had any tenant deposit issues.

landlord would not return deposit. on the plus side bartletts did get the deposit returned and compensation of 2 times the deposit. on the negative side it took a long time (4 months) and they were difficult to get hold of sometimes. all in all happy with the final result
