Victim of a scam
Good morning, Booking.com
After booking a reservation at Baitong Hotel in Phnom Penh through Bookimg.com,on December 4th l received a message from Baitong hotel asking me to change ny Credit Card to maintain my reservation.
Immediately, a payment of 324 euros has been requested to my new VISA Card and effectively made on December 5th by my Bank Mediolanum (Spain),
The day after, the Baitong hotel informed me that this was a scam.
I am sending to you all the elements of this unfortunate fraud asking for been refunded by your insurance. As l am definitively certain to respect my reservation in december 2023 at the Baitong hotel, i need the guarantee of not having to pay a 2nd time.
l am a new customer of booking.com and proving my good faith in your system.
