AVOID at all cost

My experience with this company has been absolutely unacceptable from start to finish.

The team smashed my shelf on the street before even bringing it inside. Instead of taking responsibility or informing me, they tried to assemble the furniture using tape — yes, tape — as if that was an acceptable solution. The photos I have speak for themselves.

Every piece of furniture was treated with shocking lack of care, and the overall workmanship was far below any reasonable standard.

To make matters worse, they did not reply to my email for more than two weeks, and then had the audacity to hide behind a “36-hour policy” to avoid dealing with the issue. The team on site told me they would “report it,” but nothing was done. They refused to give me a refund, and claimed they operated “to standard.”
If this is their standard, then I strongly advise you not to hire them.

Completely unprofessional company with no accountability. I never leave bad reviews, but people deserve to know what they’re getting into.

We had a bit of a nightmare, wouldn’t recommend.

We had a bit of a nightmare - albeit the job was done within the hours we paid for, but we were off to a rocky start.
Called at 9:30 to tell me they were here, went outside, they were on a different street. When I told them where they needed to be, they argued til they were blue in the face that they’d be fined (even though I live here and I’d had millions of cars drive down that same street).
The van driver told me to transfer him the money for the fine that he didn’t have, pulling out his own personal bank card - no way am I sending this guy money on top of what I’ve already paid. I spoke to the company who confirmed I’d get a refund if no ticket was issud, but still, dodgy!!!
They then proceeded to move us as slow as humanly possible, one box at a time, barely being able to lift very average boxes. It took what seemed like an age but we finally got there, and at the other end, everything went smoothly, mainly becaue me and my partner did all the heavy lifting ourselves.

I wouldn’t recommend. Faisal moved us.

Ali & his Team of Movers

Ali and his team arrived on time and were very pleasant. We were situated on the 2nd floor apartment block without a lift, They got straight into the task and had the Luton van loaded within the hour. Ali and his team are good hard working guys willing to assist in any task, I know I would recommend hello vans to anyone needing a moving company.

Dodgy, unreliable.

On 2 occasions the driver was a no show. The first time they answered my call and sent a new driver. The second time I was simply left stranded, no one answered my calls and I had to take multiple Ubers to move my stuff.

To make things even worse, I have been asking for a refund on my deposit and I am yet to receive one. They simply ignore my emails. I would avoid using this company.

Shahid and his colleague were amazing; on time, incredibly efficient, and patient as we did not receive our keys until later in the day. Assembled everything we needed on arrival, could not have done our move without them!! 5*

Horrendous!! Avoid at all costs!!

It's taken me 6 months to actually post a review as my move was so traumatic, it angers and upsets me just thinking about it!!! I had an awful experience from the moment these people arrived! Firstly the chap insisted I log the arrival time as 15 minutes earlier than the time they actually started (due to him having a chinwag with some random passers by in the drive)!!! The next stage was the cripplingly slow removal, bearing in mind I had chosen pay by hour AND had brought 90% of my belongings downstairs and only left the items I could not carry myself. I had paid extra for stairs at my end and my destination and yet on arrival at my destination, they queried having to take items upstairs and I was forced to call their office to sort this out. This resulted in a surly attitude from the lead guy and an even slower move!!! They proceeded to mishandle an expensive musical instrument, drop my fridge causing permanent damage (which was laughed off as a 'scratch' when I complained - my fridge has never recovered!!!), mishandle and damage several items AND one of the guys cut himself on said fridge and proceeded to bleed all over my items and new apartment!!! To top it all, they couldn't get my sofa up the stairs so it was left in the garage AND, having used my toilet evidenced by the sprinkles left all over it, they the refused to remove their van, hence blocking my communal drive until I paid extra for the time they mostly spent arguing with each other, having cigarette breaks and breaking and bloodying my stuff!!!! It was horrifying and traumatising!!! Customer service was a mix between one young girl desperately trying to help though being essentially powerless and another extremely rude and unhelpful person who clearly could not comprehend why I might be upset and who put the phone down on me ultimately!!! All in all horrendous!!!! I would give minus stars if it were possible!!!

Bad company

I booked this company as i needed to move our belongings from a flat to a house, i told them what was going, they seemed to do a good job until they needed to do a second run and told me they would not charge for the mileage going back, damaged items and company saying they did not, would definately not recommend this company at all.

Farid and Ali fantastic

Farid and Ali were fantastic during our London move. They went above and beyond, moving lots of heavy items up and down flights upon flights of stairs. They transported everything safely to our new home! I would heartily recommend them for a big move.

Excellent service

What an excellent service!
Had an appointment for 9am and Mohamed Atwei with his team were there at 8:58.
The precision and order
Like some movers i thought they would leave everything in the first floor but this team delivered everything in the respective rooms.
No damages whatsoever and we were done in exactly 2hrs.

5 Stars service

Great experience with the crew from Hello Vans. Fast, to the point, kind, careful, pleasant crew especially in a very difficult case moving in a new flat on 4th floor without lift. They moved our stuff, almost a full Luton van, from the ground floor to the 4th floor, in just 75 minutes including a 5 minute break! And they didn’t have just to move in the same city. It was a Manchester to London trip, being at the new address exactly at the estimated time of arrival. Also much cheaper than their competitors, I recommend Hello Vans without doubt or second thought!
