I really like Hello Fresh as the recipes are quick and easy, most are delicious and different to what I usually cook. Only problem I have is I am only one person so the meals cater for two or more are a bit wasteful and expensive for a single serve. I try to spin them out for an extra day but often that isn’t the best result.

Inconsistent delivery times, less than ideal produce, occasional missing ingredients. Very frustrating company to deal with.

Overall Helli Fresh is great. They could improve the quality of delivery companies as some of them are pretty hopeless and the ingredients are delivered in poor condition.

I marked you lower because frequently there are mistakes in the meal kits. Minus ingredients outside of the ones you recognise & notify us. I’m very busy, hence my reason for using you, if I’m missing one if the main ingredients I can’t just run out & replace it from a shop. Also the quality of the vegetables is of poor standard at times. The meals themselves are usually quite tasty & simple to follow.

Hello HelloFresh Customer Service,
I’m writing to raise a formal complaint about my most recent delivery.
I was charged for a box even though I had not viewed or selected the meals for that week. The order was processed and billed without my explicit confirmation. This feels very similar to the “subscription trap” behaviour that has been widely raised in complaints about meal-kit services, where customers are charged without clear consent after simply having an account.
When the box arrived, the quality of the ingredients was also unacceptable. Several items were unusable, including tomatoes that were already rotten on arrival. Receiving spoiled ingredients means the meals cannot be prepared as intended and undermines the entire purpose of the service.
Between:
being charged for a box I did not actively select, and
receiving spoiled ingredients in the delivery,
this experience falls well below reasonable consumer expectations.
Please investigate how this order was processed without my confirmation and arrange an appropriate refund or credit for the spoiled ingredients and the box. I would appreciate a prompt resolution.
Kind regards,
Rachel

It is so, so tasty and the variety is incredible. International dishes that we would never have tried if not for the convenience of getting everything in the order. The box comes overnight to prevent it getting hot and even if I forgot it was there it stayed cold for a really long time. This is due to the padded bag and ice blocks that last forever. The instructions are like a dummy’s guide and simple to follow, you can’t go wrong. The food is top quality and as the name states it’s fresh. If anything changes ie they can’t supply a certain vegetable they let you know. The app is fantastic, with everything at your fingertips especially ordering your next meals. You can’t forget to order your next meals as you receive an email reminder. I totally recommend Hello Fresh.

HelloFresh has one of the most frustrating signup experiences I’ve encountered. I simply wanted to browse meal options and see the pricing, but the site forces you to enter all your personal details before you can even view what they offer.
After finally getting through that process, the meals and prices weren’t appealing to me, so I closed the page and moved on. Shortly after, I discovered I had been charged anyway.
When I contacted customer service, they refused to cancel the order or issue a refund despite the fact that I never intentionally confirmed a purchase. The whole process feels deliberately designed to push people into subscriptions before they’ve had a fair chance to evaluate the product.
Between the lack of transparency, forced sign-up just to see meals, and poor customer support when something goes wrong, the experience left a very bad impression. It’s deceptive practice.

The convenience of just grabbing the bag and cooking direction’s and it’s all there. The quality and flavour are great. Within 30 to 44 minutes you are eating. Yummy 😋

Fresh is not as fresh as it advertises
Receive Friday and eat writhing 6 days but vegetables are at bit questionable at least two meals out of 5.
Packers are just throwing items in box with no care. Taping receipies so unreadable when opening box.
Too many same same every week. It enough easy quick receipies.
Reporting process on line time consuming
