We had a brilliant time kayaking with Hele Bay Adventures! Dan was incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about the area. He made us feel completely safe throughout the session, and his local insight added a lot to the experience. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, you're in great hands. We all thoroughly enjoyed the session and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We hired a 2-person kayak for an hour. The team were extremely knowledgeable about the local area and gave us tips of what we could see. We had an excellent safety brief too. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Very Happy and satisfied. Very busy beach today... small business catering for lots of people. Charlie was fantastic and his staff. Worth the wait!! Got to hire a tandom kayak for 2 hours. Fantastic array of small coves to pull up on in a close distance. The perfect distance away to get exercise, explore somewhere new , cool off and go again. Without small businesses like this catering on demand, my holiday experience wouldn't be what it has in the last week. Can't thank the staff enough for their patience and diligence on an extremely hot and busy weekend.

Absolutely brilliant. Wanted to do this foe ages and it was just amazing. Great guide. Felt safe. Saw beautiful birds and jellyfish. I definitely recommend this.activity.

My teenagers had a great day paddleboarding. Dan was really friendly and helpful. Great value and as locals can't wait to go back and try kayaking.

We had a great 2 hour kayaking experience with Hele Bay Adventures. Unfortunately the weather was not very good on the day we originally booked, Dan contracted us and was very accommodating and gave us the option to try later that day or the following day. When we arrived for our kayaking Dan was very friendly and helpful, he was kind enough to let us take a little one out for a little try on the Kayak at the end of our session. We would highly recommend Hele Bay Adventures and we will be going again on our next holiday!

Brilliant kayaking experience with Dan for a group of us. He was so knowledgeable and made this a morning to remember. The kayak's were really good quality and very solid and we all felt very safe with Dan accompanying us. Will be rebooking.

Really rate Hele bay adventures, Dan particularly. I had planned to hire a kayak for an hour- unknown to me, the weather was on the turn. Dan very honest and aware of changing risks , advised that it would not be safe to take a kayak out for an hour. Instead he offered a short free taster session. What I like is that he observes the weather changes. And he also keeps a watchful eye from the shore, I’ve seen him paddle out to check younger/more inexperienced kayakers.
Definitely feel in safe hands- thanks Dan, go Kilkenny!

We booked the 2 hour guided kayaking and it was fantastic! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area making it a really interesting tour but also with his instruction on kayaking. We were varying abilities which were all catered for.

I booked a 2 hour guided kayak tour for my 17 year old grandson and myself with Hele Bay Adventures on Wednesday 23 August 2023 and I can certainly wholeheartedly recommend this company and this tour, which was perfect for the two of us.
Emily, our guide, kept a close eye on everyone participating while at the same time pointing out various points of interest and taking photos of the group which were shared with us at the end of the tour.
Very enjoyable and very well organised. Well done HBA, many thanks.

Had a brilliant kayak tour - the whole family loved it. The Hele Bay Adventures team couldn't have been more helpful; from booking (very helpful and flexible when poor phone/internet reception nearly let us down), right through to arriving, and the tour itself. Our guide Emily was energetic, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the trip - thanks Emily : ) A memorable day on our Devon holiday.

Friendly and helpful company. Enjoyable trip around a beautiful coastline. Fun for all of our family. Pop-up changing facility might be a thought. Would use again if visiting in the future.

Supper easy to book, very helpful! Would recommend texting as phone signal was a bit inconsistent,
They opened up a two hr slot for us which wasn’t on the website booking form,
On the day weather conditions were not the greatest, and it was 50/50 if the kayak tour went ahead as safely was their main concern, as conditions improved we we decided to go out and see how it went with a alternative more sheltered route, we all had a great time with very knowledgeable instructors/guides sorry I forgot the names,
We had 4 Adults and 4 children in our party and we all thought it was a great experience

Great fun, super friendly, super safe. We had a really nice time. Interesting facts and guiding. We were family of one adult and two children (all noobs) and we were well looked after. Top fun!

An amazing experience coasteering today. Instructor (Simon) was superb, knowledgeable, friendly and even had a waterproof camera to record the event. We did some fantastic climbs and clambers and jumps. The sea and the surroundings are beautiful and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve done in my life! Great value too, all kit provided. Will definitely be doing this again!

We hired 2 kayaks for the 2 hours. Had a brilliant time in the bay. Had lunch on one of the secluded beaches and went snorkelling.
Cheap parking very near by also.
Friendly staff and very well organised would highly recommended.

We had our very first Coasteering experience today and Simon was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable encouraging and very patient, we loved it! One of the group was fairly nervous but Simon was brilliant and offered options for all jumps. We loved it so much we’ve booked again for the end of the week 😊 would thoroughly recommend.

Booked coasteering for my 4 children. Simon met us and was so friendly, took the kids off and they had the most amazing time they loved every moment . Was a brilliant experience for them👍

We had booked in for paddleboarding but it wasn't possible due to the wind so our experience was swapped to kayaking which we hadn't done before. It was brilliant, such a great experience and our guide was very patient and good at helping us out when needed. We were also given a voucher to return for paddleboarding which we hope to be able to do very soon. Would highly reccomend Hele Bay Adventures if you're in the area.
