order a set of knifes which toke longer to arrive that they said but when they did come they where what i asked for so very please and would buy from them again

Im not actualky sure what to say

Loved the knives and brought some delivery date came and gone and i called and emailed with no luck turns out its fake number etc

I found reviews on here and i was 100 percent sure i was scammed

So i went out to john lewis and brought another set forgot about the whole thing

3 weeks later 2 weeks after the delivery date they get delivered so now given them to a family member .

Knives are actually pretty decent too

Its quite clear that the owner of this company uses shopfiy to do this as a side hustle and not a serious venture.

Product good value for money
Rest is awful

Why not put more effort in, the knives are decent quality and you should give it a good go. I rekon there is a decent market for it.

I ordered a genuine Huusk-branded matsato knife and sheath, as they were out of stock on Amazon. Showed as in stock on UK website. I was rather surprised when it shipped from China. By the time it arrived on 23 Dec I was away for Xmas (around 24 days shipping). Found it frozen to my conservatory when I got back on 3 Jan. Unbranded knife in a cardboard box in a bubble envelope. Sharp but of apparent poor quality - gap by handle rivet, painted blade, finger hole looks like it was made by an industrial punch. Not at all what I ordered. Won't be using them again.

Item not delivered and phone number doesn’t work. No reply to emails

Ordered six knives, only one every arrived. Never respond to emails, still waiting on a refund. Having to use my credit card protection to get my money back. Avoid like the plague.

This company used to trade under Razar knifes. I did have a warrenty issue with the knife handle and when I reached out to hector knifes they did confirm that they traded under razar knifes and would honour it.. however the next email I received after sending payment confirmation as proof of purchase was met with we won't honour this warrenty...

I'd advise not using this company at all. Avoid at all costs..

Knife arrived in 10 days . But came from Ali express in which I looked at and the knife’s on there are £2:70 . What a rip off . Knife arrived in a basic cardboard box so defiantly AliExpress . Rubbish knife , poorly made and can see this knife lasting 5 minutes . Do not buy from hector go to Ali express as that’s what your gonna get

Items do not come from the UK. Everything looks like a UK based company from the website with UK stock. It isn't. Items shipped from China via AliExpress.

Mass produced low quality items from China.

If you don’t want to read all the narrative I have written, here’s the summary. Not a UK company but Chinese, the delivery time scale is inaccurate (4weeks), communication is terrible. Knives OK but need sharpening after a couple of uses!

The knives were not delivered in anywhere close to the time window stated. I did receive an email acknowledging my order and the money was taken from my account immediately.

I received a Royal Mail tracking code within 2 days so was very pleased and used the Royal Mail app to track my knives. Unfortunately, all the Royal Mail app said was “We’re waiting for your package”. This stayed the same for over a week - past the 3-7 days delivery window.

It was difficult to find any contact details for Hector Knives, the UK ‘office’ and number are fictional. The company is based in China. If I’d have known this I would not have ordered the knives. I usually do more due diligence than I did here. I found an email address on the website and emailed. Surprisingly, I got a response in a day saying they are on the way and Royal Mail can’t have updated their system. OK, I’ll wait.

2 weeks in, constantly checking for updates from Royal Mail and the same message appeared, I emailed again and asked for a refund. They totally ignored my request for a refund and instead blamed Royal Mail again. So I decided to contact Royal Mail myself. They said they had not received package.

I then got my credit card company involved as I thought this was a fraudulent company and a scam. They advised to wait until 28 days from the purchase date. OK, I’ll wait some more!

At 28 days I emailed the company again, demanding a refund to which I got no response from Hector Knives!

I had just contacted my credit card company again and they started investigating Hector Knives when Royal Mail said they had a package to deliver for me. Lo and behold it was the badly packaged knives.

The blades were hardly protected, just a bit of polythene and thin card. They were all crammed into a tiny thin cardboard sleeve that was crushed so I was worried about knives.

Luckily the knives were OK. They came fairly sharp but needed sharpening straight away and they blunt after several uses so need sharpening again. They are not manufactured from the folded hardened steel they claim - the folded steel pattern on the knives has been etched on!

I guess you get what you pay for. They are only worth the money paid and you do not get the discount you think you are getting as they are not worth a higher price.

If you are happy to wait over a month and want some OK knives go for it but I wouldn’t recommend if you were expecting professional quality knives.

If I could give zero stars, I would....

The knives looked decent on the website, so I ordered a set of five knives, paying £80.00. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my due diligence and check reviews beforehand—big mistake.

Delivery took 13 days, even though the website promised 3-7 days. I had purchased these as a gift for my mother-in-law’s birthday, but they didn’t arrive in time. So.. have to now also return.

The packaging was awful—just a plain, compact cardboard box with no branding, the kind you'd expect from a street market purchase. The knives themselves had no brand name, felt incredibly cheap, and were completely dull. The metal quality was terrible, and the sharpness was non-existent.

Honestly, the whole set feels like it’s worth £10.00 at most—an absolute rip-off. Do not buy!

Oh, and despite what the website suggests, this is not a UK-based company.

Ordered a set of 8 knives with a delivery window of 3 to 7 business days. After 10 days I hadn't received them and checked out some reviews on here and then I started to really worry when customers had complained the company wasn't actually in England and the address and phone number were not real. I went onto the website and contacted them and received a reply the next day stating the knives were on their way. A day later the knives arrived and we're as good as I expected. Like another customer has said, be patient. They are based in China so their advertised UK delivery of 3 - 7 business days is not accurate. Other than that, the quick response to my question and the quality of the knives makes it worth while.

Got this knife the other day and I thought it was made in Japan, but on the box it arrived In it said made in China very confused

Please don't be fooled by this scam UK company....they are based in china ....no UK contact number....SCAM ,SCAM,SCAM, .... you will have to go through your bank for a refund ....CHINESE SCAM

Great Knives. I was concerned when I read the reviews, but I had no need, excellent knives, made contact as delivery was slow took 2 weeks but quick response with updates and knives arrived and I am very pleased

Scam company, it’s a Chinese company selling as a Uk company, beware. Won’t respond to emails, I bet my knife if it arrives is a cheap knock off. Update the knife is complete crap.

I ordered a knife and was told 18 Days till delivery? Delivery did not take place as promised. I contacted HECTOR and they pursued the delay and found that the delivery had fouled up somewhere. They then sent out a new delivery which arrived before Christmas and when the original order turned up they told me to keep it with their best wishes. I have found them to be an honourable company that I would be happy to use again.

Do not use this company!!!

They take your money, don’t deliver, then over a month late they say they have delivered when they haven’t and they won’t refund, despite over 20 emails requesting a refund
