Heavins Hardware Centre is a family run business based in Athlone, Co.Westmeath. The story begins back in January 1984 when Willie and Maureen Heavin started a small Hardware Store at the McCormack Centre in Athlone. Then in the early 90s they moved 300 metres away to a 5000 sq ft premises employing over 10 people (a lot of whom were family members). Fast forward to the 19th May 2007 when we opened our doors to a 17,000 sq ft superstore in Shannon Retail Park beside Smyths Toys and currently employing over 20 people guided by Paul, Derek and Paulette. We are very customer focused and offer the personal experience compared to the big chains and we pride ourselves on customer service and range of products and services.

Samsung Windows 11 book beautiful don't go on looks alone.
Samsung Windows 11 book beautiful laptop but still can't get used to the changes from 10-11, so still using 10 also no DVD drive which means I can't use my purchased software and items saved to CD etc. I have purchased 4 external DVD-CD Players which are a Hassel to connect up and more trouble to carry around if needed, but so far I have not found a drive that is compatible with the laptop so more money down the drain. I don't know who decided to scrap the DVD drive the laptop is not that much lighter, if you need a special DVD-CD player for the Computer it should be stated or supplied at a discounted extra I have tried 4 so far and through them in the rubbish I don't know how many are on the market but at least give some indication at to what is compatible so much time wasted ordering waiting for delivery and useless at at the end of the wait
