Defective controller, promised replacement never arrived – No response whatsoever

I ordered the V001 Heated Visor Insert Full Pack on January 11, 2026 for £155.96 (Order No. 4276, Invoice #VIS-1776). Upon receiving the product, I noticed that the controller was defective.

I contacted customer support, who got back to me after 3 days and assured me that a replacement would be sent out immediately. That was over 4 months ago — and nothing has arrived to this day. All further attempts to reach them have been completely ignored.

For a product priced at nearly £200, I expected at the very minimum a functioning item — and if not, proper after-sales support. Instead, the moment something goes wrong, the company goes completely silent. No replacement, no update, no communication.

This is, in my opinion, nothing short of a scam operation. I cannot and will not support a business that treats paying customers this way.

Stay away.

I suffer from severe misting in my visor and on my glasses when it chucks it down with rain - to the point that riding becomes dangerous.

I looked for solutions and whilst a pinlock insert works to some level, it is not as good as this heated insert.

My neotec 2 is a snug fit and with the heated insert active it removes all fogging from within my helmet - I am not sure if it is me or not but I swear that after a few seconds the generated heat on the 'burst' mode also clears my glasses.

I know it works well as after a ride-out is some pretty bad rainy weather, the parts of the visor that didn't have this insert were completely fogged up.

The things that could be improved are using a usb-c connector instead of a micro-usb and also to have the option to get power from the bike (in the same way heated clothing does).

No issues with my controller box as has been mentioned previously, but I have only had it for less than a month.

Great idea not very reliable

Great idea not very reliable. I had a problem with the controller from day one. Sent it back for repair. Got one season of use out of it came to use it again and will not operate due to an apparent resistance/short issue according to the flash code. No further guidance from the manual. Looks like Pinlock is still the way to go. Great when it works but a bit fragile for the real world.
