This organisation encourages people…
This organisation encourages people with mental health issues to speak out but when I spoke out I got treated with extreme cruelty by the system. I got put in a psychiatric ward involuntarily, left on a two seater couch for nearly thirty hours, denied a phone call, entertainment and fresh air then diagnosed and medicated without being assessed first. I had my mobile phone taken off me for up to two weeks at a time for speaking out, refused leave to see my cat and bullied by psychiatrists who don't like patients having any emotions. When I refused to comply I was injected with anti psychotic medication against my will which caused adverse reactions including increased anxiety, suicidal feelings and chemically induced menopause, I was incorrectly diagnosed and ignored when I told them the correct diagnosis. I even went without dinner on one admission because they hadn't organised it. I don't encourage anyone to speak out because you'll only be abused by the system. Since then I've been allocated with a new more open minded psychiatrist and have been taken off all medication but the harm has already been done. My advice to everyone is to keep it to yourself because you will be treated with cruelty if you do speak out. This organisation falsely advertises to people that it's ok to speak out about mental health issues.
