good experience

I ordered this in Oct/nov of 24' (~$13,000 total price) and they kept having "delays due to demand" and it didnt arrive till April 29th 2025. It actually did arrive.

We paid for installation as a part of the purchase. When it arrived in Portland at the shipping hub, there was that no shipping company could offload it in a driveway because the cargo box was too big to get out of a semi truck. so it got shuffled around in shipping for like 2 weeks until the installer said he would jsut manually dissasemble it from the back of a semi truck on site at our house.

The assembling guy came to our house and was hired off Craigslists from some broker that works with health lighten and was some side-job contractor. he did a fine job actually putting it together. BUT when the installer started assembling it and I started to notice that things were different from the photos online. The wood was a different quality (veneer panels instead of solid cedar planks), the heater was different, no lighting in certain places where it showed in the photos on their website, It was smaller and a different layout than in their photos, the exterior was cheaply sprayed painted instead of stained, glass doesn't appear to be tempered, just so many things wrong with it.... It's literally a Chinese dupe version of what they show on their site. It's just so mind-blowing that they actually sent such a terrible product and went through all this trouble to scam their customers.

So after doing some more research and reverse imaging these images, I realize that this company Healthlighten, ripped off Heartwood Suana's website, photos, reviews

I reached out to Healthlighten immediately and they said they've give me $1k refund back or send a disinstaller and they would give me the full refund. I obviously chose to take the full refund route and get this sauna off my property.

BUT It's been 5 weeks now and zero response from their team. I'm going to report to the credit card company, BBB, and Shop pay/Shopify who host their payment platform about this if I dont receive a full refund asap.

Healthlighten if you're listening to this, please refund the entire amount immediately.

Avoid this company at all costs.

To the healthlighten team (and others shopping) - I have reached out numerous times with delayed or no responses. We ordered this sauna for our son who has a rare condition in NOVEMBER!!! I have had sporadic updates of "3 weeks" then a month later "4 weeks until delivery" and now it's April! Can someone PLEASE update us. Buyer beware.

I installed the sauna myself, and the process was easier than I expected. The sauna looks great in my home, and the experience is so relaxing.

Absolutely sham of a company. All the reviews are paid for. Purchased a sauna from them. They sent no instructions and refused to offer assistance to our installer. They also sent a European heater that is incompatible and unusable in the US. They only return calls between 8-9pm. Agent said she needed to review my complaint and get back to me but then never responded and blocked my call. No response to email. This company is BAD!!!!!

I bought one in January 7th. Paid fully.
After several inquires that I was getting the same response that was coming I was offered a smaller one lower quality and then order was cancelled after several weeks after I paid . I could have got another one and had it installed it already. This company should not be allowed to sell or advertise. Time is valuable for most people except for unprofessional ones like this group.

Our phone stopped communicating with the sauna to turn it on although we could still turn it on manually but the wifi feature is great to do that.

NOT what it seems. This is a chinese company. There are no instructions only a youtube. They don't have local installers, they send someone from another state that has never installed a sauna before. There are missing parts. It's a disaster...the 5 star reviews are fake. There is no one to get ahold of-the telephone number never answers and VM box full. I can't even get a refund for the missing parts and no installation.

Beware. This firm is fraudulent. They claim to be in California but there are Chinese characters in their email correspondence and they are showing designs that belongs to other legit European or American companies. I asked for my money back from them, and total silence. I reported them to my credit card company fraud department. They must be posting fake reviews, or maybe they have bought some of the saunas from the actual makers to get the positive reviews here or they have found a way to steal people's personal data so they can post reviews, or they copy products, produce them in China and sell at a lower price. They also did not charge me sales tax which they should have by law. They claim I will be refunded. I will update this review when that happens. So far I dont believe it. UPDATE: Received my refund, but I dont think I would have, had I not posted this review. The company did not communicate with me after I asked to cancel, until I posted this review.

I absolutely love my Cabin Sauna and have had it for close

My family and I originally planned to take a day off, but the sauna was not delivered on time as we wished.

Added: Yes, we have received the sauna and have made an appointment with the installer. I will leave another message when the installation is complete.

11.18 Update: Installation completed. Thank you very much for your attentive service. I don't plan to upgrade the star rating, but I will still recommend friends who need saunas to buy them from Healthlighten, because I feel that your attitude is very good and the quality of the sauna is very good.

I am so delighted with it. healthlighten customer service was brilliant and the sauna itself is amazing. My only regret is not buying it sooner! It arrived well packaged and was easy enough
