From the start of my journey from Dublin to Dania I was escorted all the way straight to the Hotel next day to the Hospital met my consultant who was also my surgeon he took the time to explain all the procedures for me he was so professional he had a very calming effect on me 2days later I had my surgery which was very good 2 days later I was outside enjoying my new life after waiting 5 years at home one week later back to Dublin a new man. So a big thank you to the 5 star Hospital Hotel and Joe and all the Health Care Aboard staff who were so professional thank you so much

Having waited over two years to be told it could be another one to two years before I would get to see a consultant I decided to use the Health Care Abroad team and from first day of contact to operation took 5 weeks. From the teams attention to all details at home to the pickup at the airport in Alacante and transfer to Denia and check in at the hotel was so professional and smooth that any doubts I had about my hip replacement operation disappeared.

The whole hospital experience was also smooth and speedy and from the meeting with Dr.Lucas Kleijn I knew I was in good hands. This man is not only a genius but a caering doctor who seems to get his satisfaction from doing great work. I can not say enough about the hospital and it's staff and also about the aftercare in the physio dept.

To Joe and all the drivers based at the hotel thank you all so much for your help and compassion .Your a great team.

I would definitely recommend Healthcare Abroad. From the minute I rang then everything was arranged within a few hours. It was all very well explained to me. I was told here that I would be waiting at least 3 years to have a hip operation. I had it in Denia within 4 weeks. Spent 2 weeks recovering over there. Had 10 sessions of Physio in that time. I cannot praise all of the staff enough for the help they all give. Dr. Kleijn was exceptional. He explained everything in detail and checked up on me a few times after the surgery. Even texting me at 9.20 at night to explain a CT that I had that day. The drivers are just brilliant. Nothing is too much for them to do for you. Also the Physio's are exceptional too. If anyone needs any kind of surgery do not hesitate to contact Healthcare Abroad you won't be sorry that you did. Thanks everyone at Healthcare Abroad.

Would recommend healthcare abroad to anyone from the first call I made to enquire the first week of January to the operation 3 weeks later everything went amazing.The process the emails and phone calls the medical and financial questions accomadtion and transportation were all helped by the team before travelling.To the all the team in Denia hospital the doctors,nurses, physio team everything was so efficient and stress free.After waiting so long on waiting lists in Ireland this is a great option for people suffering in pain.To all staff and drivers who help support you over in Spain yous are all brilliant the help and support was amazing thank you all. Special mention to Joe a lovely man and makes you a nice cup of Barry’s tea.

I stumbled upon Healthcare Abroad when I was googling options for hernia surgery. I had never heard of the company before and I was wary because it seemed to good to be true! It was so organised ,from the Dublin Airport to being picked up in Denia to the hotel . Your appointments laid out for you . The team who are always in the hotel if you need them.

From the minute I stepped into Dublin Airport I was met by staff from Health Care Abroad, my journey was made so easy for me as I have MS and it’s not easy to travel abroad, upon landing in Alicante airport was met by HCA staff and brought to my hotel in Dena and must say fabulous hotel, brought to my appointments they provided a translator if I needed, HCA had all my appointments times so they were no confusion, called to the hospital to see if I needed anything they also gave my partner the red carpet treatment, it you want to be in pain and wait years for appointments stay in Ireland, if you want to be treated for whatever conditions contact HCA and be pain free, everting is sorted so you have no worries about the treatment travel the after care that’s handed back to your GP, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough

Went to denia alicante for a full hip operation,the care that i got was second to none,arrived at the airport picked up by joe put at ease straight away,all drivers so good,hospital amazing,went in monday morning had xray,bloods,ecg,and spoke to doctor all within an hour,all doctors ,nurses,and physios,absolutely brilliant,hotel was great staff really nice,would have no problem recommending if you need something done contact health care abroad

I Recently had a knee replacement in Valencia .I contacted Health care abroad after a reference from my GP.From the very first call my experience has been absolutely amazing .The Organisation itself is tremendous The staff and surgeons at the hospital were just so nice and helpful with wonderful aftercare. I am currently at home recovering far quicker than I thought I would .My final words to anyone hesitating about going abroad for treatment is go now .

My experience with Healthcare Abroad from start to finish was faultless. I had been diagnosed with Adenomyosis, the only real "cure" being a Hysterectomy. From first speaking with one of the crew who had experience of this procedure abroad I felt confident that I was in safe hands. We were given the name of our Surgeon Dr Lucas Minig, so therefore could research his experience, which turned out to be vast. We were given support every step of the way, from arranging a loan through the Credit Union (which is reimbursed after 16 wks) to helping us find very reasonably priced accommodation near to the Hospital in Madrid. We were met at the Airport in both Dublin and in Madrid where we were picked up by our driver Javier who was so helpful and considerate of us. Javier dropped and collected us to and from the hospital whenever needed. and back to the Airport, or even if we needed something from Chemist or shop on discharge. On reaching the Hospital we were met with our english/spanish speaking host Laura who is originally from Dublin. Laura accompanied us at every step of the way, where needed at the hospital and afterwards. I cannot say enough of the Professionalism, consideration, friendliness and great fun we had with both Laura and Javier, nothing was too much to ask of them. Our surgeon Dr Minig was so kind and supportive before and after the procedure, passing us his phone number on which we could contact him with any concerns. He always responded even when we were back home in Ireland. I would recommend anyone awaiting surgery in Ireland to get in touch with Healthcare Abroad, you will have an appointment super quick, you will be in safe hands and so well looked after.

Genuine care and efficiency

This is the second time my family has used HCA.
Once again I was very happy with the experience, I was looked after very well and I am delighted to say my operation went very well and very happy with the results, I had varicose veins removal and it was done with laser so recovery was very easy.

The empathy shown to all patients was very encouraging. The care I received in the hospital from all the health care workers and the speed which all matters were dealt with was outstanding. The carers here in the hotels was excellent too and made the whole journey so much easier in undergoing a major surgery away from home and loved ones. When loved ones were able to come the journey for them was stressfree from worrying about how to first get to the hotel to getting to visit the patient in hospital.

Had bariatic bypass nurse and doctors were absolutely fantastic in hcb hospital couldnt do enough for u and always an intuputor there incase u didn't understand anything camt give them enough credit especially the health care aboard team the lads go out of there way to do any for us

Came to Denia in Spain for a routine knee procedure through Healthcare Abroad. From day one they made everything seamless. It's a very worrying time and Healthcare Abroad took away any worries i had from day one. I ended up needing a knee replacement and the staff ,in particular the drivers ,helped hugely with the unexpected anxiety around this. Nothing was ever a problem for them.
