Healing Journey Medical Travel delivered exceptional care and coordination during our recent dental trip to Antalya. My wife needed a procedure that would normally have an eight-month wait in Ireland; Healing Journey collected her details and arranged an MRI and an expert consultation within 72 hours. When I saw that level of responsiveness I contacted them for adult ADHD testing and they arranged two separate tests plus an hour-long consultation with a psychiatrist, with results and explanation delivered the same day.

They handled everything through WhatsApp, answered every question promptly, picked us up from the hotel, welcomed us in person at their office, and walked us through the entire schedule. A staff member stayed with us during each appointment, translated our questions to avoid any miscommunication with doctors, and provided English translations of all test results so we could follow up at home. After everything was complete they drove us back to the hotel.

I felt genuinely cared for at every step. Their speed, professionalism, communication, and attention to detail turned a potentially stressful medical trip into a seamless, reassuring experience. I could not recommend Healing Journey more highly.

From the get go all the info was provided accurately, no short cuts. Once I was there the whole experience was amazing. I was well looked after before and after surgery. Everything that I needed to know was presented to me. All health checks were done prior to the operation and were well preserved. I would defo rd med them for sure. After my surgery snd coming back home I had no complications and healed very well

6 months ago I took a huge decision with my health and after doing alot of reacher I decided to go with healing journey, I already heard alot about this company, so decided to go and have a gastric sleeve done with them, it was the best decision of my life. I am half way through my journey and have lost 38kg (5.9 stones). I feel great in myself, my health is so much better and most of all I am very happy. Healing journey has stayed with me all through my journey and will continue to do so. I know they are always a call/text away, and knowing that they will always be there for me.

I selected Healing Journey after searching for top rated medical travel services, and providers of hip replacement surgery in Turkey. This was based on the excellent reviews given of their services, the location (Antalya not Istanbul) and overall package. They were very proactive in discussing my needs from the start, and Anastasia has been the ever present professional who has co-ordinated all the services I needed, with efficiency and good humour. She made it a delight to work with and to have at the end of a phone/message to resolve any queries. She provided such a great personal service that I was made to feel like I was her main client - obviously I wasn’t but such a good impression is so very important!

I travelled to Turkey with Healing Journey in late January 2025. After a lengthy video call with Dr Mehmet and Anastasia, their reassurance convinced me to choose them.
From start to finish everything went so smoothly. A car picked me up from the airport at 9pm on Sunday evening and took me straight to the hospital, where surprisingly Dr Mehmet and Anastasia were there too greet me. Tests and xrays were done immediately and surgery followed the next morning.
Hospital staff were absolutely amazing, always so efficient and friendly. The surgeon visited every morning during my stay to check on my progress.
Anastasia visited most days and kept in touch by text at all times........so comforting. She has continued to keep in touch after my return to UK.
I would not hesitate in recommending Healing Journey to anyone who is thinking about travelling to Turkey for any type of surgery. They went above and beyond my expectations throughout the whole process. 5☆ service.

Hi I had a knee replacement in Turkey in the beginning of October, I went through healing journey and from day 1 I was treated extremely well,I had 3 days in hospital and 5 days in hotel and every day I was contacted by anastasia from healing journey checking everything was OK. I am so pleased I went with this company as the care and after care is excellent. I would recommend healing journey to anyone.

Myself and my mother were recommended Healing Journey through a friend who had worked with the company on several occasions. Obviously, we were initially concerned that we were going to a foreign country, to have treatment with doctors who we knew nothing about, plus we couldn’t speak the language!

Our first point of contact was with Kaan who was absolutely brilliant, from beginning to end. He answered all our questions, of which there were many, patiently explaining everything to us without being pushy or pressurising. He explained the procedures, which doctor would perform them with all their credentials and links to their profiles and which hospitals they would take place at, together with an itemised list of the procedures to be performed and costs.

I can honestly say that without Kaan’s reassurance and prompt responses and open communication at every level, we would not have been happy to go ahead. True to his word he honoured all his promises and did not let us down at any stage. We were met at the airport and taken to our hotel where Kaan was waiting to greet us and took care of our checking in and showed us to our room. We had his mobile and he told us to contact him night or day at anytime throughout our stay with any issues.

The day before the procedures we were taken to the hospital for the paperwork to be completed and met my doctor, Prof Koray Coskunfirat, for the post operative examination and consultation. We were so impressed with the kind, genuine and professional demeanour of this doctor who explained everything and made us feel completely relaxed in his capable hands. What a lovely, caring and humble man.

The next day we were checked in to the private hospital and I was prepped for my surgery. My mother stayed with me until I was taken down for my operation and stayed in my room throughout my 3 day hospital convalescence.

During my operation my mother was taken to her hospital for her more minor procedures. Her doctor, Dr Ayse Pinarbasi, was also lovely and very professional and she was very satisfied with her treatment and the results. Again, being reassured to ask any questions and contact Kaan immediately with any concerns.

My operation went smoothly with no hiccups and the care by the nurses was second to none. They constantly checked on me night and day, regularly monitoring and recording vital statistics. My doctor saw me daily whilst also checking and re-dressing my wounds and reiterated that if I had any concerns or questions to contact Kaan with them and they would be answered.

We both met with our doctors prior to leaving Turkey for a final sign off that all was well.

Overall, we both had a very positive experience through Healing Journey and Dr Mehmet who we also met and would thoroughly recommend them and the service they provide without hesitation
