Hargen Berman law firm

Hargen Berman law firm absolutely unacceptable and unlawful. Hyundai/Kia class action lawsuit we were denied stating insufficient documentation. We sent in the police report, we sent in the VIN number, driver's license year make model of the vehicle, receipts from the theft and damages totaling over $3, 700 out of pocket, receipts from repair shop at Hyundai dealership, bank statements ECT. Out of a vehicle for a month. Steering wheel ignition switch ripped apart. Multiple repairs. It was all documented sent in by mail and submitted on their website portal with all of our information on it. Bank receipts and bank statements proving all of this. The lawsuit was won for the victims as we were one of the victims signed onto this class action lawsuit. I guarantee they have done this thousands of people. Millions of dollars involved in the win of the case and this law firm denied us. Absolutely unacceptable and thieves! If you sign on to a class action make sure this company is not involved in any way shape or form you will not get any of your recovery money or damages back!

Hyundai Class Action Suit - Down the Rabbit Hole

I own a 2016 Hyundai that qualifies for a class action suit brought by Hagens Berman related to ease of theft of certain Hyundais and Kias. Upon learning of this defect I took the following steps:
• purchased and had installed a high end alarm/tracking system installed in the car at a cost of $702.27 (9/06/2022).
• When Hyundai announced a software fix was available, in 10/2022, I brought my car to Lithia Hyundai of Reno. They informed me that the software could only be applied if I removed the anti-theft system I previously installed. I kept my high-end anti-theft system.
• Learned of the class action suit brought by Hagens Berman.
• Despite problems with the website I submitted my claim to join the class action suit. I submitted documentation showing ownership of car, purchase and installation of anti-theft system, receipt for anti-theft system, and basis of claim due to ineligibility for software update due to incompatibility with said anti-theft device.

My claim has been denied. After numerous emails and phone calls the only reason I’ve been given is a down the rabbit hole, catch 22. I was told my expense would only be covered if I made the purchase after the class action suit was initiated. My numerous calls to obtain clarification typically end with the assertion that my call is being escalated and to expect a return call. Not once have I received a return call.

Perhaps if I don’t qualify for compensation in this class action suit I could prevail in small claims court or in a new class action suit for others caught in this rabbit hole – if indeed the reason I’ve been disqualified is accurate.
