Dog water with a crap library…
Dog water with an overpriced crap library, and now you can’t even share the account with a loved one or family member. Absolute garbage, I hope whoever thought of that greedy garbage endlessly stubs their pinky toes.
If you want a Glitchy and Skipping app…
If you want a Glitchy and Skipping app with 1000’s of the same advert, download the HBO app. Foxtel forced us to download the HBO app as lots of shows have been removed from foxtel
Worst I’ve ever used
Worst streaming service I’ve ever used. For recent shows, 4 ads per 40 minute episode. For movies? Exactly the same. Watching being past up to 2 minutes long, in the MIDDLE of whatever you’re watching. Worst part? If you watch all the ads in the beginning, rewind, and pause to watch your show/movie later, you’re gonna have to rewatch all the ads. Not only that, but with 30 minutes of inactivity it boots you off the show and straight back to the menus where, you guessed it, you get the pleasure of rewatching all the fkn ads again.
Ads shouldn’t be in streaming services, but at least other services only have 15 second ads, shortest HBO ad is 1 minute 30 seconds. SHORTEST. And there’s 4-5 each episode and movie. Not to mention you’re paying more than other streaming places for a lower quality service. Genuinely not even worth buying, just pirate the exclusives at this point.
Filing a complaintis the only thing left to do.
Multiple times I've informed hbomax several times about their crappy streaming app freezing during ads occasionally freezing. Once, I left it for several hours. I left to go do stuff, came back, still on the same ad. Frozen solid. That's happened a lot. Sometimes it will force itself back to playing then stop again. Movies freeze also. Movies just go to a black screen and continuous loads. Again, I've let this go for hours. I have done everything I have always been told. I have, restarted my tv, my wifi has always been fine but I restart everything anyways. I've uninstalled and reinstalled that app too many times. I've cleared the cache.I am DONE! Absolutely DONE! How can these people ignore this shit? We pay money for streaming apps only to be smacked in the face with price increases and ADs!!! I downgraded since the ADs. This OUR money. They are supposed to be using that money for maintenance of the app. Am I right? These unprofessional....people...think we're lying about this crap happening. These people that work at hbomax, all of them, from the top to the bottom, fail to understand that there would be no them without us. We are the ONLY reason that they exist. If we didn't pay, they would be screwed. They steal my money. Being charged twice in one month is not being let go. I have also informed them about that. Outcome? Guess! It has come to a point where filing a complaint is the way to go. So I'll be doing that. I am absolutely livid with that company. Done!
Ads at paid platform 🤡
Customer service is great and nice…
Customer service is great and nice selection of movies and shows to watch. One of the better streaming platforms. I had to cancel my membership but was charged for a renewal. A refund was granted due to this mistake. I will definitely be a returning customer in a couple of years.
Customer service worse than Comcast
I purchased an annual subscription. I lost access after 7 months. I contacted customer service 3 times and over 4 hours. They were unable to find my account. After logging into my account on hbomax.com, I sent them the purchase receipt, account, and credit card information. I lost count of how many times my ticket was transferred until they stopped messaging.
Decent assortment, spams commercials
Feels a little weak to be paying for something and still get ads, but I get that it's a way for people to watch at all if they can't afford the full price and it seems essential to keep the service running. Assortment is decent, as well. What I don't like is that if I rewind the episode past a commercial point, I have to watch six commercials again. I feel like once you're past a point you should be able to rewind and rewatch that episode during your current sitting, at least.
Watched five sports game on hbo max …
Watched five sports game on hbo max got dropped four times each game
Looks like they are trying to show more users than they have. Waste of time channel.
Sign in was all screwed up.i wasted…
Sign in was all screwed up.i wasted thirty minutes with customer support. They finally fixed it.they should offer compensation for wasting my time.
Content is irrelevant
Content is irrelevant if you can't experience it without constant trouble getting that content to stream.
I can rarely get HBO Max to complete a video without interruption, jumping back to a previous episode, or restarting from the beginning of the current episode.
It is no longer entertainment if you have to fight to experience it.
Not worth the price
You pay so much to watch TV and they make it impossible with Constant, repetitive ads. Literally JUST watched 3 ads to watch a single minute of my show, before 3 more of the exact same ads came up. Ridiculous.
Paying fee and still watching adds
Paying fee and still watching adds.
I will cancel this shit!
Ads with money???
You should put your ads up your ass.....why do we pay?
hbo max the worst quality streaming
hbo max is the worst quality streaming service, hbo amateurs can't even make good buffering or force highest quality always, instead like anti-consumers they are, they downgrade the streaming quality. not even prime or skyshowtime does this... old movies on prime are shown in better quality than anything new on hbo's max turd. those who sacrifice quality for stability don't deserve a broken cent.
"lifetime price"…... my ass
your definition of "lifetime price" exist ONLY in your fantasy - You are full of shit.........
You should all be in jail
Ads experience is NOT implemented correctly…
Ads experience is NOT implemented effectively or correctly. If you are watching a series and fall asleep or click off, the app won’t remember where you left off, and will force you to sit thru countless add breaks as you scroll thru episodes and try to find where you were. Rather than being triggered by watch time, they’re just placed in the middle of an episode like speed bumps. If you watch an ad break, then come out of it and rewind 5 seconds, you’ll be forced to rewatch the ads, no matter how many times you already have. Worst streaming experience I’ve ever encountered, from a company that used to be THE standard of excellence
Good content but to many interruptions…
Good content but to many interruptions with advertising, disappointing.
So many commercials and you are not…
So many commercials and you are not informerede sufficiently about this when signing up. The adds completely ruin the viewing experience for. Stay away - HBO used to be premium now it’s discount.
Ads are way too many, great way to lose subscribers
Affordable. Easy to subscribe, very simple to use the app and great shows to watch.
After a few weeks....
The ads are way too much and way too many times. Getting really sick if it actually and I can tolerate a lot...Great way to lose a lot of subscribers
