Been using Haynes Manuals since the 1970`s to help maintain my vehicles and they were great but not anymore.
Just got my first " Digital Product " and it`s useless.
Very very very difficult to navigate and try to find procedure/setting you need.
Lots of the images are generic and no relation to your vehicle and torque settings are just blank.
Absolute waste of money and i will never buy anymore.

Biggest waste of money ever. More info in the glove box handbook. DONOT buy clk manual blank screen would have wasted less time after being robbed for £27 .
I would go on but they do not deserve anymore of my time.

There was a time Haynes manuals meant quality, I should have bought Viz album it would have been more useful but probably not as big a joke as Haynes is now.

The new online manuals are actually useless. No specific photos or information for your vehicle, just generic information.

gave 1.3hr labour for a job that required 6 hours of stripping to get to the part. Yes to replace the part was 1.3hr, but how do you expect me to get to the part? be realistic

The manual has useful info. Some good to knows. Especially the technical diagrams. However, I found it to be a complete waste of money.

Bought this for my Citroen DS3 and the majority of the repair guides are generic ones not suited for my car.

An example for suspension springs:
1) Remove the wheel
2) Remove the front suspension strut

Is this a joke? This is literally what the guide says then refuses to elaborate. Google AI gives better info and that's free.
Doesn't reference locations of bolts, what to look out for, etc.

used Haynes for years, then had to go online to buy a manual, that has less info than the manufacturers handbook. only to be told by Haynes it's a service manual only & not technical. (but it does tell you how to change a crankshaft) but misses the the areas required to to do moderate repairs.. then to top it all off trying to force me to set up a brand new account to access it( just trying to harvest more data from me)

What a waste of money the online digital manuals are.
So generic and useless they may as well have taken pictures of a motorbike engine to fix a Mercedes.
Stay clear and save your money for an alternative. I for one will be seeking a refund. Let's see how that goes. I will report back!

Easy to navigate. Great selection.

As a female, this book changed my entire perception about mechanics. It has given me the confidence to learn more about my vehicle, fix things myself and save money. Since purchasing this book I’ve been able to save more than $2000. I was able to confidently replace the radiator and thermostat in my vehicle. If you’re wanting to get into mechanics and don’t know where to start, this book is the best place to start. There are too many videos and different opinions on how to do things these days on the internet. This manual will tell you step by step exactly what and how to do and how to do things.

Not as comprehensive as my previous purchases of Haynes manuals.

I bought a manual printed in India, but the print quality is terrible. The photos are very poor quality. I'm very disappointed that a company with such a long history has lowered the quality so much.

Ordered online manual for one simple job did not have details of this for my car so total useless emailed them they never replied tried ringing no one answers haynes have gone from being an excellent manual you bought for your car to little more than online scammers

Ordered "Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra Gas Pick-ups (99-06) Haynes Repair Manual". Very generic. Not specific at all for my 2003 GMC. I was hoping for a more in depth manual. Really needed wiring diagrams. Ordered one from Repairsadvisor.com and there are over 29,000 pages of specific information.

I placed an order for the Ford transit custom manual online. It was a Sunday and was working on the van. Paid the money upfront in the hope the online version would be immediately available. I created the account and there is no order, I have had no email confirmation or activation code. It is now Thursday and still nothing but money has gone from my account. Have written multiple times to various emails and nothing. So have requested money back through card company. So my score reflects the poor service!

Like other poor reviews .the digital information is pathetic . nothing like the detailed manual books .the information on subjects is very sparse .I had to resort to ytube videos after trying to get the very little info that's available online .30quid wasted .my advice if your thinking of a purchasing .don't waste your money

Ordered a combination online and physical manual before Christmas for a present, the physical manual never arrived. We had access to the online version for a week and then it disappeared from our online account. Then our order was refunded. We've had no notification and been trying to contact for a few weeks on email, live chat and phone but get no response.

Not one job in manual to do with my van and when u look at pictures of job it a completely different car ,or it does a Google search ,total rip of and company should be protected under the trades disciptoin act as a scam

Pretty much useless and irrelevant.
Purchased an online repair manual hoping for a a digital version of the original paper books; sadly disappointed; the manual contains generic information and pictures of totally unrelated vehicles as examples of procedures, I want to work on my Subaru not the car that was closest to the photographer at the time of compiling the 'guide' Some information relates to Left Hand Drive vehicles which we don't generally have in the UK... Some of the information/procedures is downright wrong, my car has LED headlights yet there are generic diagrams for changing headlight bulbs! No UK cars had sunroofs' however the manual tells me how to initialise the sunroof. I have requested a refund and will wait and see, not very hopeful as there is no contact phone number and a company that 'hides' usually doesn't care. Don't bother buying an online guide from Haynes, total waste of money.

So disappointed with my online manual for VW Passat CC online manual. We bought it last year after my dad rang up to buy a manual. They explained my model was not available as a book manual, but could be bought online which I did.

It's so badly organised and many things are of generic cars.
I was asking it to show me where blower/fan was and its resister was and how to repair it. This is a common fault in my car. It has nothing on where it is in car or repairing it, just a simple drawing of the blower; really no help to anyone.

Hours wasted trying to find information on anything, very poorly put together digitally (this was my day job btw) Useless really unfortunately and not what we had been expecting or advised of.

Ringing customer service is a nightmare because all the telephone numbers either no longer work or message saying you have to email. I did an email yesterday and nothing back. Reading other reviews I see they haven't replied to emails anyway.
£30 spent down the drain. I am gutted as Haynes used to be our go to since they came on the market.

My dad (an electrical engineer & 70 yrs car fanatic mechanic), and I have over 35 book manuals of some of our 70 previous cars, all fantastic and easy to navigate.

Online manual, which we were told to buy instead because there was no VW CC book manual to be bought, is a maze/labyrinth of lacklustre unhelpful info which never gets anywhere.

I have had to buy an easy manual pdf for VW Passat CC on a digital stick, as I need car fan fixed quickly in this bad weather and want information Haynes Manuals excelled at.

Ridiculous and I am sad. Haynes were the best. I would like my money back and so I hope they are the good company we always believed in and will do this for me. I will then edit this review accordingly.

I would pro-actively advise Haynes to change ALL details and links on their website to clarify the online manuals are nothing like the physical manuals, so others are not misled from now on. Also, the customer services needs to be verbal as well, as I wondered if Haynes was going bust as no contact could be found.. I even rang the Haynes Museum up, but was told they were a different business.
Physical manuals are obviously still wonderful!!!!!!
