Ive been using the platform for a year now, being a NRI its just convenient to use this with my international bank cards and number

Goes by Mony. In princple a good idea but in the end not useful and super frustrating. Cannot pay personal accounts. Have to pay inactive fees (not listed in the FAQ fees). Have to pay exorbitant exchange rates. Have to pay to close account. Doesn’t work properly for online payments. Basically I just lots lots of money because I opened an account when I could have just withdrawn cash. Dont do it.

While Mony may seem convenient for tourists in India for UPI when it comes to making payments, my experience has been very disappointing. Once I requested account deletion, their support became unresponsive and difficult to contact. Without any prior notification, my account was suddenly blocked.

It raises serious concerns that they appear more interested in collecting user data rather than respecting deletion requests. It feels like they avoid properly removing your information when you ask.

Think carefully before using this service… your personal data might not be handled responsibly.

It made my travel to India easier. I could make my payment etc easily without worrying about cash or card on me. Didn't need an Indian Bank Account or Indian Sim to do so.
