I had an amazing time at 30 east drive. On the 10th December 2025, lots of activity going on. My music box was going off a lot. On the stairs. Had the small bedroom door open. With un seen force. Our host on the night Chris , was very welcoming. And amazing too, boy Chris can snore, like a man possessed. Sorry Chris 😄 can't wait to go back, sometime in the new year.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I bought my best friends the Falstaff experience for their birthday's & honestly, it surpassed all expectations! Starting with what we paid to do - the sheer respect and knowledge the hosts had were fantastic, everything was taken very seriously, with the balance of a great time thrown in. We experienced a fair few "happenings" which is exactly what we wanted.
The whole evening was just MADE by Chris & the amazing people we met. Chris is honestly the loveliest guy, with so many interesting stories & experiences. His passion, respect & knowledge pours out of him & felt safe with him at all times.
Chris, if you want a Warwickshire bestie, hit me up ✨️🌈

More teaspoons, I must have my coffee!
More teaspoons, coffee cup lids, structured breaks were paying guests, one or two breaks went into 35-40 mins, responsible use of cat balls they were place on wooded surfaces despite going off were debunked, pay your staff - at least 21 covers you had at £55 that's £1155, I'm sure you can give them £50 each, we felt like we were forced to partake in some of the rooms but later found out that the two girls we had been speaking to had pretty much been off doing their own thing most of the night which we would have loved to have done. We were also left feeling like two of our party were instigators in certain aspects of the night.
If your apprehensive about going, don't be, go and enjoy it and come away with what experiences you have had, even my partner who was worried this time is now up for trying anything next time, even the cellar on her own. It was a great entertaining night, and stuff did happen which was weird not spooky. I wish there was space for my full honest review, but its too many characters to fit on here. Laura actually was amazing, friendly and chatty despite the Diamond dh comment, made us feel at ease, and has inspired us to actually do more investigating and we will return at some point to investigate more, and may even play some more parlor games.

I’m really pleased to read your comments about Laura. She’ll be delighted to know that her friendly, chatty approach helped you feel at ease and has inspired you to do more investigating in the future.
I also appreciate your practical feedback. We did have plenty of wooden stirrers available on the night, though we completely understand that some guests prefer a traditional teaspoon. We don’t provide cup lids, as hot drinks must remain in the break area only – carrying lidded cups into vigil rooms isn’t permitted under the venue hire agreement, so we avoid creating the impression that drinks can be taken into the investigation spaces.
Your comments about break lengths are helpful too. We do have structured breaks built into the night, but it sounds as though one or two may have overrun on this occasion. We’ll remind the evening’s Event Manager to tighten these up and keep them closer to the pre-planned structure as expected, so that as much of the night as possible remains focused on investigating.
Your point about the cat balls is noted as well. We do aim to use equipment in a responsible and evidential way, and I’ll pass this on to the team member as a reminder to choose stable surfaces carefully, explain why, and actively debunk anything that can be explained by the environment.
I’m also sorry to hear you felt under pressure at times to take part in certain rooms, especially when you later realised others had spent some of the night doing their own thing. We do make it clear in the event information sent out beforehand, and again in our welcome briefing, that nobody is ever required to join in with every experiment. That said, we’ll remind the team to reinforce this more obviously on the night so guests feel completely comfortable choosing between the structured vigils and quieter, independent investigating during appropriate parts of the event, although our focus as a public event facilitator is group exercises.
Finally, please rest assured that we do look after our team. A great many of our hosts have been with us for over ten years, which we feel speaks for itself. We don’t discuss individual arrangements publicly, but our team are valued, supported and rewarded for the time and energy they put into every event.

Exceeded expectations
As a huge skeptic who bought this as a birthday present for my believer girlfriend I was expecting it to be more like an episode of Most Haunted.
I can safely say that it was anything but the staff were brilliant especially Adam who made us all feel at ease and explained what would happen throughout the evening very clearly and was encouraging of everyone to get involved.
We were taken to 3 parts of the manor to experience the activity and we actually did! The varied equipment and methods used throughout keep the experience fun and engaging and I must say I’m a lot less of a skeptic since our experience.

Fantastic Ghost Hunting Experience at Rycroft Hall!
We attended the ghost hunt at Rycroft Hall on 15th November with my daughter and her friend, and it was absolutely fantastic. Laura was our guide and she was incredibly enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable — she really made the whole evening special for us.
The activities were exciting from start to finish, and we enjoyed them so much that we’ve already booked our next event for Friday 13th February at Smithills! We can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars, and we’d love to have Laura as our guide again.

Ryecroft Hall
Attended Ryecroft Hall on the evening of 15th Nov with my son. Had a brilliant time, was split in to small groups so loads of opportunity to use all the equipment and fully take part in the vigils. Beth was the leader of our group and she was excellent, really knowledgeable, friendly, fun and welcoming, we had loads of fun and laughter as a group as well as immersing ourselves in the whole experience of the event.
