We are writing regarding your handling of our mail at 43 Berkeley Square, which has resulted in severe and unacceptable consequences for our business.
Despite clear responsibility on your part to manage and forward our correspondence correctly, multiple items of critical post—including parking and enforcement notices—were not passed on to us. As a direct result, matters escalated to enforcement action, bailiff involvement, and financial losses amounting to several thousand pounds.
This situation was entirely avoidable and has occurred due to your failures, misleading assurances, and lack of transparency. We have since discovered that important correspondence was received at your address and not communicated to us in a timely manner, if at all.
Let us be clear:
Your actions (and omissions) have caused significant financial and operational damage
We relied on your service in good faith
That trust has been fundamentally breached
We are now formally holding Hutton & Berkeley accountable for these losses.
Unless this matter is addressed immediately, including:
A full written explanation of how this failure occurred
Confirmation of what mail was received and when
Your proposals for compensation and resolution
—we will have no option but to escalate this matter further. This may include formal complaints, recovery action, and pursuing the issue through our legal advisors.

I was a paying customer of Hatton & Berkeley for several years, using their virtual office and director address services.
Over time, the service's cost continued to increase, while the service itself remained unchanged. There were no improvements or additional features to justify the higher price.
In the end, I decided to switch to a different provider that offers clearer communication, better support, and more reasonable pricing.

Firstly, I would like to say I am not shocked with the other reviews. This company is a complete fraud!!
We have been with them for 7 years and all of a sudden they stop responding to us and once we get ahold of them, they make excuses and mislead us. They have failed to send our mail for months but still collect the direct debits and the person who we were in contact with is Robert Croucher.
I have gone to their devonshire house address and it is a fake they are not even there anymore.
Do not trust this company as they lack respect, care for clients and honesty.

I have been a customer of Hatton & Berkley for many years, a previous customer of Westone who’s services were transferred to Hatton & Berkley.
In the back end of 2024 the service level dropped significantly - to the extent we didn’t receive any mail for months despite paying for the device, we were constantly having to call and chase mail.
I was reluctant to renew my services but was assured that the poor service we had received had been addressed and that going forward the services would be as paid for, sadly though this has not been the case and we are outstanding at least 2 items of tracked mail that arrived to Hatton in December 2024 as well as at least 1 item from January 2025 and now another item from Febuary.
The reason I say “at least” is because these are just the items I know of which had tracking and delivery notifications, my concern is how many other items which didn’t have tracking and of importance from HMRC etc that I am not aware of have been delivered and not forwarded to us for the devices paid for.
Despite countless emails trying to resolve this, including 3 emails this week, WhatsApp messages and a phone call, I have not had any response and can only assume that I am either being ignored or worse still perhaps they have gone bust and there is no one there at all.
I’m not faced with the obvious reality that I need to find a new provider of services and unpick the mess caused by an unknown amount of lost mail.
I can see other recent reviews from customers receiving equally poor service which suggests I am not alone, recent replies from Hatton to other negative reviews on here give an email address for people to complain, but considering I’ve emailed this twice now without a response it would appear a fruitless exercise.
I hate leaving negative reviews, but would hate for others to fall into the situation we have, where for almost 6 months a consistently poor level of service, mail not forwarded and a lack of response when trying to contact.

You say email - but I’ve emailed you to this very email twice already this week, and have had no reply. I’ve had no reply to my WhatsApp, and I’ve had no reply to my answerphone message today.
I’ve had months of service issues and it’s not good enough, why is it you can reply within 25 minutes of my review but my countless contacts this week once again chasing my services to be fulfilled is ignored?

They still owe us a refund.
We received an email that they'll change their address to another location. We have been with them for 7 months and paid in advance for 12 months of service. There is also the mail forwarding deposit amount that they still owe to us and of course, the remaining 5 months since we stopped using their service as we didn't wish to move to their new address. We chased for a response a couple of times but we never heard back.
Overall, we DO NOT recommend them due to the lack of professionalism and failure to provide with a response in the refund.
I do read their response. I kindly remind them that I was a client for Hatton & Berkeley for around 7 months with all the evidence such as emails and invoices paid by us. So this review is legitimate and I am happy to share the invoices paid if needed and also the email communication in the middle of the festive period.

Very confusing communication, the information it was not very clear what I received
I appreciate the attention to detail and the prompt delivery of our mail by email from H&B.
Quick follow up with our representatives meant that we managed to change everything for a new registrations etc for the virtual office/registered office services. Appreciated and easily available for a call to discuss.
Good manners, willing to work out any issues, patience and of course a great address.

When chased I was promised something would be sorted to make up for it but save for a vague offer of access to their new club nothing was offered. Communications were dreadful.
