Our second visit to Seashell Cottage which is just perfect for an extended family to stay in. Plenty of space for different age groups to either mix or relax alone in delightful accommodation!

A real home from home in a wonderful setting and the perfect location on the beautiful Isle of Harris. Comfortable and spacious, it was the ideal place for our family of four to return home today after a busy day exploring the island - and the nearby islands! Thank you Sally for being such a hospitable host. We hope to return again.

Seashell is such a beautiful house. We loved our stay. It’s clear that so much thought and love has gone into renovating the house. It’s really comfortable, beautifully decorating, lovely furnishings and luxurious bedding. Sally was helpful throughout and flexible when our travel plans had to change last minute. The basket of treats that he left for us was so thoughtful. I hope I get the chance to stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone else!!

Situated on the outskirts of Leverburgh, the new renovated cottage is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful west coast and the south of Harris. The Cottage is very cosy, comfortable, lovely decorated and well equipped. Perfect for a stay with up to six people. We particularly appreciated the uncomplicated booking of the cottage through the friendly owner of the house. Proximity to Leverburgh supermarket is another big plus. It will certainly not be our last stay in the beautiful cottage.

Seashell Cottage is a wonderful haven on the beautiful island of Harris. We were made so welcome by our host Sally, she simply made our stay perfect. The cottage, designed to the highest standard and is comfortable and luxurious. Seashell Cottage is fully equipped for self catering with excellent Wi-Fi and access to all the TV streaming services you could need. It is located close to and with easy access to the most beautiful beaches, including Luskentyre and Scarista and many island walks. Tarbert is a short journey away and Stornoway, although a slightly longer journey, is easy to visit. Our holiday offered us everything to keep us busy whilst allowing us to relax completely. We can't recommend this beautiful location and cottage enough.

Seashell Cottage is a beautifully refurbished, high-end cottage that sleeps up to 6 very comfortably. There are two large, amazingly comfortable king size beds and a further 2 very comfy singles in the 3rd bedroom. The living room and kitchen / diner are smartly set out with high quality fabrics and materials used throughout. Two lovely bathrooms as well.

The location of Seashell cottage is really convenient. You'll need to drive to a beach if you want to get into the waves but there are 3 of the loveliest beaches in the whole UK within 5-10 minutes in the car. The cottage is on the outskirts of Leverburgh, 1 minute from the main shop on the southern part of Harris, and 3 minutes from the little ferry to North Uist. So it's an exceptional base for exploring... and a peaceful, civilized, beautifully done up cottage for resting and reading if the afternoon turns wet and windy.

The host is exceptionally thoughtful and responsive and has developed this cottage to be a perfect hideaway for couples and families.

Seashell Cottage is in a great location for accessing the local beaches and was immaculate throughout. The whole cottage has just been renovated to a very high standard and was both comfortable and beautifully presented. The beds and bedding were like staying in a 5 star hotel; they were so comfortable and we all slept so well. The bathrooms were superbly fitted, and the showers were lovely. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking family meals. Sally left us a lovely personal note and gifts on our arrival. We had a great stay here, and would highly recommend it to others.

We loved our stay. The house was welcoming and well appointed. Also the location was very convenient for all our travels.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Seashell Cottage.The accommodation is comfortable and clean. The decor is modern and it is very well equipped with many attractive finishing touches.
The cottage more than met our expectations and the only reason we did not give it a 5 star rating was due to the closeness of the main road. (There is a gated garden)
Overall, we would definitely recommend Seashell Cottage.

Fabulous South Harris cottage beautifully decorated in F and B warm colours and with high quality White Linen bedding. Very comfy beds and plenty space for a family in the 3 spacious bedrooms/2 lovely brand new en-suite bathrooms . The owner Sally , a long term resident of Harris is just lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous welcome basket on arrival and the cottage is opposite the little Mustheb mustard business with excellent informal tastings offered along with a chance to buy artisan island mustard. Easy to book online - this is a new self catering cottage for 2022 and a very welcome addition to the Leverburgh area as is only 5 mins from the lovely beaches of Northton and the Temple cafe/ Croft 36 home bakery. Thanks for a great stay Sally.
