Stay well clear of buying one of their properties

My daughter purchased an apartment from this company who were redeveloping an old factory,a few years ago.The whole block of apartments have issues related to the shoddy workmanship and build quality this company has provided.
Leaking roofs and skylights, damp in the walls and ceilings, cold rooms due to lack of insulation, the list goes on.
Harris Evolution has been contacted on dozens of occasions to investigate and correct their substandard workmanship, they are not interested and are now refusing to respond.
Reports are being drawn up,some residents have taken out their own surveys, which are quite alarming and are now a waiting the building regulations set out for this building before legal action will be taken.
Avoid this company like the plague!

NEVER PURCHASE FROM OR EMPLOY

Harris Evolution are an extraordinarily bad developer. I’d strongly advise against purchasing any property from them. In 2020 we purchased a flat off plan due to be finished in October of the same year. After many promises we finally moved in March 2021, over 5 months late. Sadly however, the whole development was clearly still not finished. Corners had been cut everywhere, and since moving in, there has been issue after issue. Harris Evolution’s customer care is sadly non-existent, zero organisation and cheap quick fixes left, right, and centre. In addition to the endless snags the building has had serious issues too. The entire roof is faulty and nearly every flat has had severe leaks, windows were installed backwards, they fell out of their frames, they leak/condensate worse than a single paned window from 100 years ago, and staircases were installed with no structural integrity. Not to mention all the flats are freezing due to the super budget electric heating that was installed after originally advertising gas central heating in the brochure - EPC very poor. Throughout, they have taken no responsibility, preferring instead to blame various sub contractors, contractors who they selected in the first place. We are all still chasing snags from 2 years ago and have been bluntly refused fixes for valid issues. Two project managers have burned out and moved on, and the latest one is arrogant, has an attitude problem and shouldn’t be anywhere near a customer facing role. All in all, think twice before employing the very definition of a ‘cowboy builder’.
