Harper and Lane SCAM

Oh boy! Looks like I'm out $90. 2 pairs of shoes...way too small and very cheap! Not even worth $2. Took a month to get.... I should have looked at reviews first. Sent pics they asked for but after reading these reviews it looks like this is a real scam and I'll never get my money back. Stay away!

THE WEBSITE NO LONGER EXISTS

Would give zero stars if possible. I ordered shoes on October 5, 2025. On October 13 I got a email saying they would be here by October 17. The shoes should have been here by now. The website I ordered from and the tracking number no longer exist. How much money is this company scamming from people, I wonder.

I would give 0 stars if I could. These guys lie about their 30 day return policy. They jerk you around asking for photos and details of what you don't like about the items and won't give you information to do the return. DO NOT USE THEM EVER! UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Horrible company

First of all Harper/Lane should be honest with their costumers. You are one of the worst companies we have ever ordered from, and your return policy sucks. Your such a con job, so dishonest and your clothes feel like cheap toilet paper. I ordered a top which looked really nice, when l got it the material was totally different and very cheap and size was large. I had to take a picture of the blouse l ordered next to a top of mine for comparison and send to them. They offered me 50% back on the top and said l could keep the blouse l ordered. They came from China by the way. It actually deserves a O.

SCAM, FRAUD, BOOTLEGGERS

Please do not fall prey to this websites designs. They are knockoffs with the worst quality I haw ever seen. Their wool jackets are paper thin. The stitching is completely off. Their customers service is robotic sending you pre-rehearsed emails. NO REFUNDS, they offer you a percentage off and ask you to donate their junk. They need to be shutdown. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Agree with previous post- do not order from them!

The previous posts state the problem exactly. The order arrived and it did not fit the way the picture illustrated. I asked to return via the email provided and instead of sending me a return address, they asked me to send a picture to compare how it fit me with something “comparable.” I stated I just want to return it as it is no longer needed. The reply was that it would have to be shipped to China so it would be better for me to keep it and receive a 20% refund. I then said no that I would like to return and at a minimum would expect a full refund and no less than 50%. I did not get any further response to the request to send it back, just an email stating I was refunded 50%.
I do not trust the company and the product was very poorly made!

Toxic Petroleum Smelling Raelynn boots

Ordered Raelynn waterproof boots. Arrived 1 month later. Reek of petroleum. The 'waterproof' material is cheap dime store rubber. Looks nothing like photo. Currently disputing the charge with my cc because their customer service has provided 3 unacceptable return options:
1. A 20% refund and 'I get to keep this toxic product'
2. I can order another product and pay an additional $12+ for shipping
3. Return the product and pay $30+ shipping

I bought the “Sally Waterproof Ankle Shoes” for $79.90, advertised as marked down from $160. The pictures on their website showed high-quality leather boots — what I received looked nothing like that. The shoes were poorly made, cheap, and not waterproof at all.
The website boasts a 30-day return policy, but after I complained, I learned the truth: they only offered me 50% back if I kept the shoes, or else I’d have to pay $30+ to return them to China. This was never made clear before purchase.
This is misleading advertising and deceptive returns policy. I’ve filed a PayPal dispute and submitted a formal report to the Dutch consumer authority (ACM).
Shoppers deserve transparency and honesty. Save your money and avoid Harper & Lane.

Beware of Harper & Lane

I purchased an Athletic "Orthopedic" shoe size 8 for $50 & received a very cheap pair of athletic shoes, size 11. Company was very polite when I requested to return. They informed me that I would need to send the shoes back to their warehouse in China and pay the shipping cost, which would be about $30. They offered me a 20% refund (about $10) which I finally ended up taking because I was sick of the numerous emails back & forth & their polite manner of scamming me. I should have checked their reputation online before ordering. My fault! I'm now out of $40 & have a pair of cheap shoes that don't fit me.

I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT buy from this company. The outfit I bought is complete garbage and they want to give me 20% back.

This is the email they sent me:

Regarding our previous offer, if you'd prefer, you may choose a different style and simply pay for the shipping fee.

If you’d still prefer to return the item, that’s absolutely your choice — we fully respect that. We do want to be transparent that returns are sent to our warehouse in China, and shipping costs would need to be covered by the customer.

If this doesn’t quite make up for the issue, just let us know. We completely understand and are more than willing to take another look and offer something more if needed. What matters most is that you feel heard and supported.

Item quality is horrific! Printed pattern onto a cheap synthetic fabric. Price point is extremely high for quality. Looks nothing like photos!! Do NOT BUY!!! You will not get your money back!! Only gives 20% of value back, customer service is a bot. TOTAL SCAM!!!!

DO NOT ORDER A THING FROM HERE

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Stop. Do not order anything from this company. I ordered what was described as a knit pullover and got the cheapest, non knit sweatshirt. It is 100% a scam. When I tried to return it I was told it would cost a lot to return it to China. I had to make a claim with my credit card to get a refund.

DO NOT ORDER - CHINA BASED - BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Before purchasing I checked the location of the company and it looked like they were in the United States…and saw that they offered a refund to original payment method for returns so i ordered a pair of shoes. One month later i received the shoes which are not even close to what was advertised and the sizing is too tiny for any normal foot. Now they are giving me the runaround and trying to get me to purchase with an UPCHARGE and keep the shoes and order another size or something different. i refused so now they are telling me the shipping to china will cost over $30 and instead they will give me 20% of what I paid. DO NOT ORDER HERE! This is not legit.

URGENT: Complete scam

URGENT: Complete scam. Merchandise is trash, refuse returns, then tell you can keep the dressed and try to get as much $$ as they can of the total purchase price. Impossible to deal with. The dresses I ordered don't even look like fabric or resemble any country's sizes. DO NOT ORDER from them.

Worst shoes ever

The $70 shoes looked like they had a cork insole and solid rubber bottom, but that “cork” was just sewn-on vinyl and the sole was flimsy. These are the cheapest shoes I’ve ever encountered. No receipt included. No return instructions. It took 4 email exchanges before they would even give me a return address, which was in China. They also had the nerve to suggest that I might find I more ‘convenient’ to give them to charity and forego getting a refund. Wish I’d looked at the reviews beforehand and avoided them.
