totally misrepresented products

Absolutely horrible. The boots on the website appeared to be of high quality. The product received was cheap and crappy plastic. Four emails so far and they still refuse to authorize a return. I will be doing a stop payment with the credit card. Clearly a horrible company.

Harper and Lane doesn't deserve even 1 star!

Harper and Lane doesn't deserve even 1 star. I ordered a jacket and what i received is nothing like the picture in their ad. The material is cheap, thin and flimsy. When I voiced my displeasure and requested a refund, a long trail of emails have ensured, offering 20% of the jackets cost, or a replacement .
I doubt I will ever receive my refund and the jacket is so cheap I can't even donate it.

BEWARE

If I could rate this no stars, I would. Beware that it is impossible to return an item for refund. They will stall with multiple return emails offering a discount on your next purchase rather than refund your money and then the will stop emailing. Wish I had known this before purchase. I was returning because of a size issue but also product was cheap looking.

If I could give this company a -5 I…

If I could give this company a -5 I would. I ordered a coat off their site for my wife first off it took 3 weeks to receive. When I did receive it it is way to big. Two it is made of very poor quality material,It looks nothing like what they are advertising. So I try to get a refund, first they offer me a new coat which I do not want, then they try to offer me a 20% refund which I DO NOT WANT. They are offering me these things saying I don't even need to return the merchandise. That right there should tell anyone that this is a bogus company.I want a full refund just as their website says. You have a 30 day return policy. Now they won't even answer my emails at all. I think I'll contact a lawyer since they don't want to follow there own return policies. I lost over $100. This is a scam site 100%. Update!! After filing a dispute with my credit card company and threatening to take legal action I got an email apologizing for the whole situation and another email saying my money will be refunded in full. I really didn't want it to come down to this and it shouldn't have when I tried to follow THEIR return policy. But at the end of the day I'm glad I'm getting my $107 back.

If I could give them zero stars

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I ordered a couple shirts and shoes from them. Cute in the photos. They emailed me daily about the order and delays. One pair of shoes was on back order and I requested to cancel that order, no problems there. The other stuff arrived three weeks later, poor quality, didn’t look like what I had ordered. I contacted them to do a return. Silence. I emailed again. Silence. And again. Nothing. We are well past 60 days, so I’m eating this money. This whole time I’m trying to get ahold of them and not only do they not answer, there’s no advertisements from them. Until today, when I got a “We miss you” advertisement to their website. Ha, no thanks. Buyers should 100% skip this site.

Don't buy here...

Purchased what I thought was a beautiful coat, turned out to be a cheap piece of junk. Really thin material, no lining, didn't fit. Never again.

If I could give a ZERO star that's what…

If I could give a ZERO star that's what they deserve. I purchased a dress for around $59 and the product is garbage. NOTHING like the photos on their website. Clearly they were all AI-generated and I should have known better. But the website states they have a 30-day return policy, so I though it was worth the risk. NO! I was wrong. When I contacted the company as instructed on their returns info page, their response was to offer me only 20% refund! And that is after they offered to send me a new item for $12.95 shipping charge!! Their stated refund policy is completely false. I finally gave up and threw away the dress and lost $59. They are clearly a FRAUDULENT company. DO NOT BUY!!

A POOR QUALITY COAT, NOT AT ALL AS ADVERTISED

I finally received the "coat" nearly 2 weeks after ordering it. It was not a coat at all, made of thin fabric that wouldn't even qualify as a sweater, much less a winter coat. It was not "oversized" as described & was too small to fit as a regular coat, much less an oversized one that would allow me to wear a cardigan or thick sweater underneath. And it was overpriced, not worth anything near the $62.91 I paid for it once I had it in hand & could see the poor quality of the fabric & workmanship.
After emailing Harper & Lane to request the address to send the coat back to, I received an email asking me to send them a photo of the coat. I refused (the camera on my phone is broken). I fired back an email advising them I couldn't send a picture & that if they did not give me a return address & an RA# (if required) within 24 hrs, I would contact my bank & request a chargeback from Visa for the item being not as described.
I received a reply the next day from "Susan" stating that upon further review, they realized that: "We did not help you as we should have and we should have resolved your issue much earlier, without adding any extra hassle on your side. I am very sorry that this did not happen sooner. To make this right and to avoid any further inconvenience for you, you may keep the item, and we have initiated a full refund for your purchase. There will be no restocking fees, no return shipping costs, and no need for a Return Authorization number or return address. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund will typically appear on your account within 1–3 business days."
Sure enough, my credit posted 48 hrs. later. I only wish I had bothered to look up reviews of this seller online BEFORE ordering from them.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HARPER & LANE!

DON’T SHOP FROM HERE! This place is a FAKE- exact same product 1/2 the price on Amazon (even the exact same images on both). It took over 3 weeks to arrive. It’s a sweater with NO TAGS and terrible quality.

Continuous polite refusal to provide refunds -update

I recently ordered a pair of shoes which took several weeks to arrive, and did not fit or look as nice as it did in the photo. I have currently exchanged an email thread of 17 emails and still counting after requesting a return authorization and a shipping address to return the item. The company continues to send friendly emails explaining how much they want to serve me, but, so far, while saying they are willing to arrange a return if I am not satisfied with their arrangements, have only offered to send a new size, to send a different shoe and I pay the difference, to refund only 20 percent, and then an upgrade to 50%. I will never order from this company again. I lived in China for 10 years, and I honestly feel like I am in a tourist market where I am required to bargain back and forth until someone finally gives in. I have never experienced this in the US before.

Update: After posting my review, I received an apology and a full refund back to my credit card with the understanding that I would return the shoes to a California address. I put them in the mail today. I appreciated the opportunity to bring closure to this experience, even though the return shipping was high.

Scam..Beware

Company has fancy website with probably AI generated photos. Ordered black 3/4 length sleeve cotton blend dress. Receive a garbage super short sleeve 100% polyester dress that wasn't even close to the photo. They refused a return unless I paid shipping and also demanded I pay shipping if I wanted a replacement.
Then started back and forth emails where they offered successive discounts.
When I disputed with my credit card they fought me multiple times tooth and nail, saying they sent the correct item and were trying to work with me, offering discounts etc.
But it was the WRONG item!
This seems to be their business model: Sell a garment for like $60 to $100. Send a different $5 piece of junk from China. A percentage of people will just accept it. The rest get 20 - 50 % discounts. So the company over all retains about 3/4 of the $$ for a garment possibly not worth 10%. If they are forced to shut down always beware for similar store opening with different name. And ALWAYS look for address and local phone number!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. After waiting almost a month to receive my orders, I got cheaply made garbage that looked nothing like the images shown on their website nor did they match the description shown on their website. One jacket stated in was 100% leather. It was plastic. Never again! Do not waste your money.

Bait and switch…

Googled a particular robe that I wanted to buy and the pictures posted by HarperandLane looked like what I wanted. Paid $67.45 but when it finally arrived, it was nothing like what was pictured. I tried it on and it fit like a knee length form fitting sweater NOT a loose flowing robe. I contacted them repeatedly but kept getting a computer generated response refusing to issue a return label and take it back so they could credit my account. Instead, they wanted me to pick something else from their website, pay the difference and an additional $12.95 shipping or pay out of pocket to ship the original back in order to get a refund when they clearly sent me an item that appears nothing like the pictures. Not getting anywhere in this bait and switch mail order company. Going to file fraud with my credit card I guess. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

Scam!

Scam!! I ordered 2 items and then read the reviews, I then immediately cancelled my order and asked for a refund. They said they refunded my money, but did not! I had to change my card as suggested by my bank. I can only get a email response saying it was refunded, then saying it was shipped out 5 minutes after I ordered? (Not received any items). It also appears the product images have been taken off of other legitimate websites. Beware!

I saw a photo of booties…

I saw a photo of booties that looked to be of high quality and cute. I got the cheapest vegan leather probably ever made. They "resembled" the booties I saw. I wish I had read reviews before buying from them. They are true schiesters. Stay far away. Do not be fooled.

Spend $59 plus s&h got trash …

CHEAP
Items do not fit. They do not match the size guide. The material is very cheap. The overall quality is the same as items costing 80% less- the items are VERY cheap looking as well. Do not buy anything from this company.

Terrible quality clothes and returning is waste of time

The quality of clothes received were like from Sheinbut the prices were much higher. The quality was poor and/or the sizing was off. When I contacted them to begin a return, I was asked to take pictures of the clothes lying next to similar items that I owned and had to give detailed explanations for why I didn't want the clothes. I was offered a 50% refund and could keep the clothes. I said no. So I was given instructions for sending the clothes back to China. The address is over a paragraph long. I mailed them back over a month ago, had to pay $70, and the clothes are now in the unknown so I'm out $270. I will never order anything from them again.
