Bad Experience.

Bad Experience.
I ordered fresh meat and chicken from them.
They first charged me and send me the delivery details but the order never made it to me.
When I contacted them they gave me all the fake delivery stories and finally they declined my delivery and refunded my money without any regrets.

Thank you Obaid for sharing how you felt. Firstly, we did speak privately about this and thought the matter was resolved back in January.

Let me explain what had happened. A business runs with multiple peoples and partners. Peoples which are staff can be trained to give best services, however when you have partners you have to liaise with them.

The courier company at the time that damaged the parcel discovered fresh meat and immediately disposed it as pretty much all courier companies don't cover protection on perishable items see their policy (https://www.dhl.com/content/dam/dhl/local/gb/dhl-parcel/documents/pdf/gb-parcel-uk-claims-policy.pdf on P.G.8). Them being our partner and not us we were not able to ask them and complain like we wanted to as their policy is clear. To partner with a company that takes full responsibility for perishable items, delivery with a refrigerated van and protection will cost you more than your order.

We still gave you a refund knowing that we lost the order, customer and issued money that we never made on that order. As well as apologising and accepting that it is not your fault but still finding the need to leave a review like this is interesting.

However, if you still think we are bad we will ask you to place an order and we will make sure that this time your experience is nothing below a 5 star.

As a first purchase I was impressed with the communication, delivery and quality of the items. I would definitely buy from them again and would recommend this company if you need your halal meat etc delivered.

Very pleased!!

Have used a number of Halal delivery companies and thought I would give Happiroo a go. The delivery date options are very good and it was delivered promptly yesterday.
The meats were well packaged and look to be excellent quality. I had some of the lambs liver yesterday and have to say it was great!!
The only thing missing was a note inside listing the items ordered, but that is just a small criticism.
I would have no hesitation in ordering from Happiroo again.
Thank you for an excellent service.

Happy with Happiroo!

I had to write a review because I was pleasantly surprised and highly impressed with my order. I purchased spices and fresh chicken thighs. I was slightly reluctant as past experiences of purchasing meat online have lead to smelly, foul smelling meat arriving at my door and those companies had poor customer service too when I attempted to contact them.

However, after browsing the net for a trusted retailer, I came across Happiroo and loved the backstory of them wanting groceries to be available to meet demand during lockdown. So I placed an order which arrived swiftly and the meat unlike other retailers was fresh and true to the weight I ordered (I weighed it 😜).

Moreover, their customer service is very impressive as they personally followed up with me to ensure I had no problems. I can't recommend them enough, especially as they are affordable,high quality and very prompt.

loved the packaging of my meats, came perfectly fresh with no smell. and loved the fact i was able to order food online as sometimes its hard for mums like us to go out during work and care of child.
will do more shopping.

First time ordering, steak was massive and very tasty, portion sizes are very generous, and the meat is fresh and well packaged will 100% use again, just switched to halal meat so the convenience of delivery is Also a bonus
