I had a very positive experience with Hanne & Co Solicitors. My solicitor Henry Dawson was highly professional, efficient, and consistently responsive throughout the process. He handled my case with great sensitivity and understanding, which made a significant difference during what can be a very stressful time.

Had my conveyancing done with Hanne and Co. Really good communication through the whole process, they explained everything I needed to know and got my remortgage done quickly and smoothly.

Recently had mirror wills done for me and my partner by one of the senior associates.

The whole team responded fast and provided excellent advice. Process was smooth and we felt supported though the each stage which was great as this was the first time having wills made.

Would recommend the team there if you need top quality advice from friendly people.

We had a meeting with our solicitor and she was full of advice and plans for setting up a meeting with our financial advisor. I subsequently heard nothing from her for 5 weeks. I rang. The message didn't get through. I rang again.
She then produced a document which bore little relation to what we might decide. But she had not consulted us before producing it. It was full of inaccuracies, including getting one of our names wrong - not misspelt, but wrong. What sort of attention and focus was she offering?
Getting together two " simple " wills ( her word) took from February to June. Each mistake on her part resulted in further charges for us.
Our solicitor is a senior associate, so I presume her casual attitude to her clients is typical of Hanne & Co as a practice. We eventually just wanted rid of our association with them and opted for simple wills which ideally were not what we wanted - and at HUGE expense.
If only we had read the other reviews on Trustpilot first!

Following up on my review and their response we did meet with another partner and redid our wills at no further expense. We appreciated this honest response to our earlier dissatisfaction

This company is nothing more than Thieves. They have a pot of money from my fathers estate. They have avoided all calls untill the ombudsman got involved having this money for many years they still have not paid a solicitor in Grenafa and have refused to reply to there emails. And also my emails and phone calls. WHY WOULD YOU NOT RESPOND TO US WHEN YOU HAVE THOUSANDS OF POUNDS FROM US IN THERE POSSESSION. THE ANSWER IS THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE MONEY. IF THEY DON,T LIKE WHAT I HAVE SAID THEY CAN SUE ME. IT WILL BE MY PLEASURE TO BRING ALL THE EVEDENCE FORWARD.

I would not recommend this firm. Very unprofessional. I was billed for hours of work I never asked them to do. I felt more bullied by my solicitor at this firm than I was by my ex-husband during the handling of our divorce. They would call my ex-husband's solicitor without my permission or knowledge. They are only interested in billing hours. I once got my solicitor's name wrong in an email to her, an honest mistake, and then she would not write my name in further correspondence with me.

Safe to say we would not recommend after our recent experience. Having used Hanne & Co previously for a house purchase we confidently instructed them for our sale and purchase this time round however we have had a nightmare with their accounting team. They have made constant errors throughout which have left us with very little confidence anything has been calculated correctly. They initially made a mistake which if we hadn't spotted (and then had to explain the workings out to them) would have left us over £24000 out of pocket... Despite us querying it they insisted they were right until we emailed and explained with screenshots why they had worked it out wrong. They are meant to be the professionals. Then days and days after we had completed they reached out to say they had again got it wrong and we had to pay them an extra £1800 that they had mistakenly paid back to us on completion. Having just moved house we had obviously used any money for furniture and other purchases so being told later they had made another error and we had to pay it back was terribly stressful. Ours was a relatively simple purchase and they couldn't calculate the funds correctly so I would avoid them in future
