been trying to sell my bike for a while then decided to get in contact with HH auctions and Mike Davis came back to be in a day he said he wanted better pictures and lucas gomersall came round and took top quality pictures , next day arranged for it to be transported to the national motorcycle museum by chas mortimer transport unfortunately the day of the auction the bike failed to make it reserve , but must say from begining to end Mike Davis Lucas Lucas Gomersall and Chas Mortimer , have all been , trustworthy reliable will definately use there services again some time, all reasonable cost more than 10 out of ten

I needed to sell my old Harley but had strong reservations about advertising the bike privately because of all of the stuff around security and payment so I asked Mike from H & H to auction it.

Mike clearly knows his business and made the whole process from describing the bike for their catalogue, getting it to auction and receiving payment totally hassle free. In my opinion they did a great job and their fees were well worth paying.

I enjoyed the whole process from my initial contact with Paul Cheetham for my vehicle’s appraisal, culminating in the successful conclusion at Buxton Pavilion Gardens, the auction venue.
Paul composed a comprehensive and informative description of the car, and also ensured that the folio of photographs for the catalogue was taken in a photogenic spot.
The Victorian auction venue in Buxton is attractive and all the vehicles were displayed for inspection after being well prepared.
Paul blends a professional approach with a friendly demeanour. I would have no hesitation in making H&H my first port of call in the future.

Andy Talbot, explained the whole of the auction procedure step by step. Making sure I fully understood every aspect from vehicle pickup to the eventual sale of my car; including the financial commitments which would also entail.

The car was very well valeted prior to the auction by H&H. Bids were received via internet, phone and commission bids. Floor bids were also very active and the target price was reached.

Lucas Gomersall successfully handled the sale of my Healey 100 late in 2023. Despite the ‘difficult market’ Lucas was great to deal with - straight talking backed up by an obvious passion and deep knowledge of classic motor vehicles.Lucas is also a really nice guy and a very good representative of H&H. I bought a car through H and H, my first time dealing with them. I found them very professional to deal with. I would definitely buy again through them.

We asked for help in valuing for sale and then removing three classic cars in barn find condition at a set of garages being refurbished. Access was difficult and the cars had not moved in about 20 years. Lucas Gomershall came to our rescue, valued the cars, arranged their retrieval and removal from site and eventual successful sale. He rose to the challenge, found ways to get them safely onto a transporter and then arranged to auction them. We could not have wanted for greater expertise, and expert advice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
