I've had dogs for many many years. I've had pedigree pups, non breeder pups, rescue dogs. Leah in my experience has been by far the best breeder I've had the pleasure to meet. It's obvious she cares about the pups as family, and not a money earning business. I had to travel a long distance to collect my pup and she was very flexible. She asked questions about my history with dogs to ensure they are going to the right home, and agreed that my pup was definitely suitable with my home situation and my current dogs. She also genetically tests Mum and Dad to ensure puppies are in the best health possible. Bring a pup home in the 1st few days, can be stressful, but Leah provides a starter pack with all her pups, so you already have the essentials, even a full bag of puppy food. For a couple of days after bring the pup home, Leahs been in contact with us, to ask how things are going and offer any advise if needed.

It is a breath of fresh air to find a breeder who genuinely loves and cares for their dogs. Leah was so accommodating, we received regular video updates, nothing was too much trouble and our puppy was so well looked after before we picked her up. She’s a very settled and happy little puppy and are so grateful to have found Hampshire Pedigrees. Leah clearly does it because it’s a passion. We've just had the most amazing experience with Hampshire Pedigrees. Leah has been fantastic right from the start, always updating us throughout the whole process and even now after we have our puppy at home, she checks in and is more than happy to give advice when we need it. She is a puppy whisperer!! Her dogs are very lucky pups. Would 100% recommend.

My husband and I have bought two puppies from Hampshire Pedigrees from two separate litters over the course of a year, and we couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Leah - she really is an exceptional breeder who is not only supportive but truly cares about the welfare and wellbeing of her puppies. Leah took care of everything with professionalism from the first contact, from health checks and vaccinations, to food and crate recommendations, and kept us up to date with regular messages so we could know how our puppies were getting on. Leah also followed up regularly for several months after taking our puppies home to check in on how they have been getting on. This was my first time buying and owning a puppy. Leah and her husband Jamie were super supportive and happy to answer any question I had. I was lucky enough to contact Leah 3 weeks before the litter was due, so I was able to be involved from the start. I received information, updates and videos about mum up to and through the birth and then regular updates and videos of the puppies as they grew. We were able to visit all the puppies twice before we were due to bring ours home. We were welcomed into their home to see mum and the pups in a warm and relaxed environment. It was clear the puppies were extremely well cared for and loved by the family.
After bringing our puppy home I had some questions which Leah was quick to answer and she then kept in touch with me throughout the next few days when I needed her expert knowledge and moral support.
My puppy came to me healthy, happy and confident with a beautiful, relaxed temperament. I 100% recommend Hampshire Pedigrees and will return to them for a brother for our Alfie. Many thanks Leah and Jamie.

From phoning Leah to the moment of picking our new puppy up we couldn't have asked for a more professional and friendly breeder. Leah was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell this is something that her and the family are passionate about doing and its not just a business which is what we wanted to avoid.
Every step of our new puppys journey with her mum and grandma was explained to us and the photos and videos we were that were sent made us feel part of the process.
Since picking up Mini she has been a pleasure of a little puppy, You can tell she has had a lot of interaction with both adults and children and isnt phased by anything.
We be back in the future as mini gets older as the dream is for Mini to have a little sister.
This has been the best Christmas surprise for me.

We had an excellent experience with Hampshire Pedigrees. From the start, it was clear the puppies were treated as part of the family and given the best care. Knowing they were already socialised with children was especially reassuring for us, as we have small children ourselves. Leah and Jamie clearly prioritise setting the puppies up for a good start in life, from establishing routines like bedtimes to ensuring they are well-socialised.

Communication was fantastic, with regular updates, photos, and videos. They were flexible and understanding about arranging visits, and we were given plenty of helpful information to prepare for our puppy, including recommendations for training books, food, and more.

After we collected our puppy, the breeder checked in to see how we were getting on, which showed their genuine care and commitment to the puppies’ wellbeing. Highly knowledgeable about the breed and thoroughly dedicated to finding the right homes, we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I cannot recommend Leah and Jamie highly enough. Their integrity as breeders and attention to detail is second to none but what really struck me is how much they care about their dogs and making sure they are going to the right homes. If you are looking for a quality reputable breeder for a mini wire haired dachshund then look no further.

Leah and her husband Jamie do a wonderful job in breeding - we recently got our first puppy Toddy, and from day one Leah was kind, knowledgeable, reassuring and totally professional. They take enormous care of their puppies and we felt completely assured that we’d made the right decision. Leah is incredibly supportive, approachable and answered all our questions before we even knew we had to ask them! We are delighted with our new addition and it’s all thanks to Leah and her family. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful experience we have had with Leah & Jamie. From the minute I made contact they have gone above and beyond! We were added to a group chat and had the joy of following beautiful Coco-melons pregnancy! We were kept up to date and sent useful links and tips. Then when the day arrived we were sent videos and photos of the puppies birth - which felt magical. We were constantly updated on their development from birth and we visited them at home with their mum a couple of times before we finally bought our girl home. We still have our groupchat and im grateful we can keep in touch! This has been a wonderful and joyous journey for us made so by Leah & Jamie. I feel so so lucky to have found them. Our pup is gorgeous- and we couldn't have wished for a better start for her. Thank you Hampshire Pedigrees! I have no doubt we will be back one day for puppy number 2!!!

From the moment I spoke to Leah I knew we were at the right place. We had a mini dachshund die just before Christmas and my remaining dachshund was devastated ( as were we obviously) I found Leah on the kennel club website. As a couple they are fabulous, so well organised and have beautiful puppies who seem very relaxed and happy from the word go. Do not go anywhere else if you want a mini wire dachshund, I wish I had discovered them years ago! We have had them for 30 years and Leah is the most organised breeder of any I have met! Huge thanks for letting me have Bagel!

I have had Archie now for 3 weeks now and since day 1 of enquiring Leah she has been Amazing. I got regular updates/visits and she answered all my questions. The puppies are reared in her family home and you can see how much she loves and cares for them as soon as you step through her front door. I will continue to recommend her to anyone looking for puppy and I’m sure I will be back in the future.

Leah was great - created a WhatsApp group with the other owners from the litter. Sent updates and photos of the pups and lots of useful information. Very welcoming into their home and was flexible with visit times before we brought pup home. We got a puppy starter pack which was great and pup uses the blanket and toys everyday.

We had an outstanding experience with Leah and our puppy Dudley is truly a handsome and happy chap. Throughout the process, she provided us with regular updates and photos of our puppy's development, along with helpful tips for puppy care.
We were able to meet our puppy's mother and see the breeding environment firsthand before committing to the pup. Each puppy receives individual attention, and the breeding environment is clean and well-maintained. Our puppy arrived healthy, well-socialized, and happy!
What truly stands out is her genuine love for their dogs. Her commitment to their puppies' welfare is very clear and she offered us a lot of guidance for the transition period. If you're looking for a responsible breeder who truly cares about their dogs, I highly recommend Hampshire Pedigrees.

How do I even begin? This has been the single most amazing experience of my life so far. I found Hampshire Pedigrees on Pets4Homes and I could not be happier that I did. From the very beginning, Leah was comforting, accommodating and totally professional but never lost her amazing personal touch. Her devotion and love for all of her dogs and puppies can never be questioned. Once we had fallen in love with a puppy and reserved him, we received regular pupdates of our boy and his litter mates which enabled us to watch him grow and gave us constant boosts of excitement! I cannot thank Leah, Jamie and their lovely kids enough for looking after the pups so amazingly - and a special shoutout to Roman who did an amazing job at being Dipper’s best bud until he was able to come home to us! This weekend we collected our second puppy from Leah and there’s nothing more to say, other than she’s beautiful.
Our first Wire Haired Dachshund Molly was so beautiful that we just couldn’t refuse the chance to get her little sister a couple of years later.
All Leah’s puppies are stunning, well cared for and well socialised.
We are so happy with our new addition to the family and can’t thank Leah enough.

Getting our boy Rudi from Hampshire Pedigrees is the best decision we have ever made. The entire process was faultless. We live a 7 hour drive away so unfortunately could not visit before collecting Rudi, but Leah is incredibly kind and friendly and provided us with continuous pupdates and FaceTime calls. It was 100% worth the journey and we would definitely do it again in the future. Rudi is the sweetest, most loving pup ever and we could not be more grateful ❤️

Leah is a very knowledgeable breeder and such a lovely lady. Regular pupdates and willing to answer any questions! Pups and girls extremely well looked after. Our pup has been the easiest dog we’ve ever had the pleasure to own. Highly recommend especially if you haven’t owned a dog before as the process is very straightforward and the pups well adjusted.

We are so pleased we found Hampshire Pedigrees through The Kennel Club. From the initial phone call, Leah was an absolute star, she was very knowledgeable and we were able to arrange to visit our chosen puppy that weekend. The entire family were extremely accommodating, friendly, and professional when we visited, and allowed us to spend ample time with the litter and mum. We have since been receiving plenty of pupdates, and Leah and Jamie have been amazing at taking care of our little Dachshund, Scout, before he comes home. He has been socialised well with children and the other pups, and has been bathed and groomed alongside all of the necessary health checks, vaccinations and microchipping. We have also received lots of recommendations for puppy essentials, which has been super helpful. Leah was very understanding that we couldn’t pick Scout up until he was about 13 weeks (although we would have loved to have him sooner!) and she agreed to continue looking after him until we could collect him, which many other breeders we contacted wouldn’t agree to.
We can’t thank Hampshire Pedigrees enough for everything, and we will definitely be using them again in the future… Highly recommend!

Our boy Charlie is 10 months old today and he was the best decision we ever made. We found out about Hampshire pedigrees through pets4homes. From the moment we contacted Leah she has been so helpful and reassuring, it was nice that we had the opportunity to go and meet Charlie and his mum before paying a deposit which other breeders didn’t allow us to do, all questions we had were answered. Leah and Jamie were a 2 hour drive from us, but they were definitely worth the drive! Charlie is the sweetest boy, we love him so much. 10/10 💙🐶
