Having been searching around for a new car we visited many used car dealerships. We then we stumbled across Hammond Cars and was amazed at the vast selection of cars available for sale. This is by far the best dealership we have visited. We were able to look around the cars at our leisure which was really nice as there was no pressure from any salespersons which is often the case at car dealerships.
The service is exemplary and especially Craig who dealt with my sale from start to finish. Craig is so knowledgeable and patient and really took the time to answer my many questions and helped me decide which car was most suitable for my needs. I picked up my new car yesterday and I’m so happy with my choice, it’s definitely the perfect car for me, so thank you Craig. The whole experience was enjoyable and stress free and I would definitely recommend Hammond Cars to anyone looking for a new car.

The is the second car I have bought from Hammond cars and both times been a very pleasant and easy experience.
Chris from the Norwich branch was very helpful in finding me the car I wanted, he sent me pictures and additional info before initial viewing, explained all options, gave me plenty of time to look round and test drive and answered any questions I had.
The whole process was very smooth and pressure free, I'm very happy with my new car.

Awful - we went to look at a car. The salesman looked unkempt - they then couldn’t find the key. Having eventually found it they pointed us over and said “it’s likely over in those two rows, let me know if you want to take it for a spin” … we wandered around for 10 minutes and couldn’t find the car so just gave the key back and left.

Great experience .
Made it seem a friendly and easy time which can sometimes be a stressful event. Offered a warranty but no high pressure which made me purchase one on my terms and my own decision which didnt feel like at any point i was under undue stress.

Stacey was very thorough and even under new situations that she was dealing with like swapping a disability road tax to a legacy one, she managed and found a way and remained calm and friendly at all times which didnt make me panic at any point.
The manager was helpful also, and even the other staff that wasn't involved in my purchase made sure I was happy and always taken care of.
I will definitely be going back to the Ipswich branch in the future and recommend them to family and pals.

Fantastic experience from start to finish with Harry S. Cannot recommend him enough. Friendly, approachable and explained everything thoroughly, giving me the opportunity to ask any questions. Gave me space to look around and test drive the car and didn’t pressure me into buying any add on packages. Very professional salesman while providing a personable service. After calling Hammond cars we was greeted on the phone with Ethan who was very polite and professional.
I arranged to make a deposit so my wife and I could go view the car . I had trouble with my bank was saying there was a delay in payments going out but Ethan said that was no problem he would have a word with the manager and have the car removed from the website which only took about 15 minutes in total.

Upon arrival Ethan was quickly over to us greeting us at the door of their premises in a very professional manner.
We then straight away headed over to the car where he handed us the keys . He answered all our questions in a polite and professional way I couldn't fault the lad .
Unfortunately the car wasn't for us which was no fault of Ethan and he was completely unstable about our reasons . There was no pushing the car on us like some forecourts do .so to round things off our experience with Hammond cars and Ethan was at a very high standard I would highly recommend them if you're interested in one of their cars .

Can not find fault with the service.
This is my third purchase over the last 9 yrs .
Staff are super

Overall the buying experience was positive, with helpful staff eager to solve any problems. However the car appeared to not have been properly checked over for any damage (which was more than just 'cosmetic'), and no info or advance warning was provided prior to traveling a long way to collect car. However a small refund was made for the split in the rear bumper which helped to soften that unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, all good, and I love the car.

Visited both the Norwich & Ipswich branches in the past 2 days. Test driving one car in Norwich & then a higher spec model in Ipswich, which I ultimately bought. Both Austin in Norwich & Rob in Ipswich were friendly, helpful & patient during my visits. I was not put under any pressure to buy at anytime. During my longer visit at Ipswich, while paperwork was completed, we were regularly asked if we'd like drinks etc. All the admin was completed very smoothly & explained very clearly. Best of all, so far, I love my new car.

The agent, Stan, was great. Experienced, friendly and knowledgable. Gave honest answers to all of my questions and was a massive help in choosing my vehicle. He even made me a coffee whilst we wrapped up the paperwork.

After a nightmare experience with another garage, I sent my new car from Hammond’s for a full inspection after purchase to avoid repeating any potential future problems that I had with the previous dealer. And to put my mind at rest.

I was happy to find that my car was in absolutely great condition. Just as promised. It went some way to restoring my faith in the car industry.

Also, great selection of vehicles.

We recently bought a car from Hammond Cars at Great Yarmouth. We had excellent service throughout.
The car was driven over from their Norwich branch saving us the trip as Great Yarmouth is closer to our home.
The staff are lovely and very knowledgeable. All questions answered and we were very confident buying from them. Thanks especially to Holly and Alfie.
