Order received, strange smell, really comfy but dont last long

I did receive my order and was able to make a return but it was really complicated and frustrating. The jeans smelled horrible. A real chemical smell. They are very thin but very comfortable. However after a short time of wearing I discovered they pluck really easily, and the pair I bought my daughter is wearing away at the seams. Even with the "discount" they are expensive. The returns process put me off as well.

My relative had the same issue as everyone else seems to have 'impossible to return for refund or replacement'.
Contacted 'credit card' company who amazingly got their money refunded to their account. Halara didn't want the clothes back either.

Absolutely appauling

Absolutely appauling, the company make it virtually impossible to return for refund, they actually state that customer pays return and takes 'weeks' the process is set up to make you keep items, i have no printer, no option given unless you have a printer. Devious process and would never use them again. A corrupt and rurhless company

I received an order today from Halara…

I received an order today from Halara and They are not suitable but have tried with no success to go through the returns procedure. I have been on Chat with them and they say they have no recollection of my order number. The joggers cost me well over £50 and I am fuming. I will never buy from them again. Just want your money with no customer service. I’ve also sent 2 emails which have not gone through.

I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered several items and immediately contacted them the same day to request changes to the lengths. I reached someone on their online chat who confirmed the amendments had been made. Later, they emailed to say the order was delayed because of my same‑day changes, which I didn’t mind, I was happy to wait.

Six weeks later the order finally arrived, only for me to discover that none of the amendments had been applied. I was incredibly frustrated, as I had tried hard to make sure everything was correct and had even received confirmation that it was sorted.

I ended up giving some items away and returning the rest because my children couldn’t wear them, and I’ve decided I won’t be shopping with this company again. To make matters worse, I spent £10 returning two items and expected a £66 refund, but they only refunded £27. I have no idea why. I also used credit vouchers, which they seemed to treat as a discount, and the trousers were on a “buy 2 for” offer, which made things even more confusing.

Overall, I cannot recommend this company. I feel completely let down, they overcharge and provide the worst service I’ve experienced

Avoid please! Read reviews

Order never relieved and they say it’s delivered. I’ve asked them for evidence this and they have advised I contact the couriers to see where it is (no courier name given). They will not refund me or resend the order and for it to be tracked.
Avoid at all costs!

Extremely poor customer service

Ordered 4 items, which took 3 weeks to arrive as apparently items are 'made to order' !! Product fabric is amazing, but the designs are a bit strange and tbh not worth the wait. Decided to keep two items, sent 2 back immediately the following day, and that was 3 weeks ago. I'm still awaiting their acknowledgement of the return, and £42.11 refund. I wouldn't bother with any of this, it just ain't worth it. Buy local, not Singapore.

Bad smell

Jeans are light, nicely cut and feel extremely comfortable to wear. However the plastic/chemical smell just won't shift, I washed them twice and have worn them twice and it still smells bad. I mistakenly washed them with other items the second time and now they smell bad too. Plus the smell gets picked up by my other clothes that I wear. I'm going to try the vinegar/water soak that others suggest online to see if that works. If it does I'll be happy but it's a lot of effort even if the jeans are a great fit.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The company sent me the wrong item, refused to take responsibility and wanted me to pay for return costs. I have sent the items back and it’s been nearly a month and I still haven’t received my refund. They’ve stopped replying on the online chat and are ignoring my emails. I’m over £60 out of pocket and have been trying to resolve this issue since November 2025. They confirmed they received the items back, so now they’re just not processing my refund and ignoring me. I will NEVER order from this site ever again

I have ordered from Halara a few times…

I have ordered from Halara a few times now and have been delighted with both their products and customer service. I wanted to return a recent order as I ordered the wrong item. Customer Services were easily contactable and super quick in their response and resolved my request with sympathy and speed. The products are excellent quality and there is a great selection with sizing being accurate. I will definitely be placing further orders and thoroughly recommend this company.

One star is generous

One star is generous. While my order was in process it showed in the app. As soon as it arrived it disappeared so impossible to start a return as all the clothes I ordered are gigantic and not as shown. I've been in touch asking for the order to show up so I can do a return but they just ignore my messages. I now find out I'd have to pay for returns so probably not worth sending back. The jeans are incredibly thin and snagged getting them out to try on. Never again and now I'm trying to find someone to give the tops to so they aren't wasted.

Trying to return my order, wont let you submit it. Either give up or next, stuck on give up? I need next button??? Wished id read these reveiws first before ordering. Looks terrible customer service, bad attitude to have towards customers, who could potentially promote their company. Not now in UK.

Won’t give refunds

My 78 year old mother bought £250 worth of clothes. As the quality was so poor we had to send everything back with proof of postage. That was on 14 August 2025. Still no refund received. Tried to get money back through credit card who also couldn’t help.
I’m so cross as it’s stressed my mum and as I used my card for her purchase, I’m down £250! DON’T BUY FROM HERE
