I’ve used HalalBooking since 2018 and became a Platinum member after spending over £10k on the platform, this included recommending it to family and friends due to its values-led positioning.

Unfortunately, during a recent trip, a delayed airport transfer booked through HalalBooking caused us to miss an international flight, resulting in significant out-of-pocket costs. While the transfer fee itself was eventually refunded, HalalBooking offered no practical support, goodwill, or assistance despite the seriousness of the situation and my long-standing loyalty (very surprising for us).

What was most disappointing was not just the financial loss, but the lack of customer advocacy at a critical moment. When things go wrong, how a company supports its customers matters - and in this case, sadly the response fell well short of expectations.

Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify one important point for accuracy. We were not meaningfully informed in advance of a delay in a way that allowed us to make an informed decision. Instead, we were repeatedly told by the driver that he would arrive “in 5 minutes”, which proved to be incorrect. Alternative transport was only arranged around 75 minutes after the original pickup time, by which point the situation had become critical.

While I appreciate the expressions of empathy, what remains disappointing is that, despite the seriousness of the incident, clear evidence, and my long-standing Platinum relationship, no practical support or goodwill was offered beyond a refund of the transfer itself.

I remain open to constructive dialogue and a fair resolution, should HalalBooking wish to review the matter further in light of the full context.
