We have had the heat pump for nearly 2 months now and can honestly say we were surprised just how effective it is at maintaining a constant temperature throughout the house. The installation was trouble free and very professional. Most impressed and pleased with the switch over from an oil central heating system.

Very helpful in explaining options and providing quotes for alternative installations. Installation team were very efficient and pleasant. Only one negative which was the delay between main installation and finishing off to commission which was longer than the team had advised

Efficient, effective and thorough installation. The changing groups of workmen always had the same figure at the helm each day and each completed their tasks with maximum effectiveness and minimum fuss.

I was very pleased with the service I received from this company, especially as this is very new technology for me. ( I had a retro fitted air source heating system in my 1970s bungalow) The application for RHI went very smoothly with their help. As to the system itself, I have found it very effective to date, although I have not had a full winter with it yet. All in all a good company with a pleasant, tidy workforce.

Hafod recently installed a Daikin Air Source Heat Pump/Hybrid boiler at our premises.
I cannot praise enough the care and workmanship shown by their installation staff.
The attention to detail and, in particular, the complete clearing of all mess at the end of the job were exemplary.
As we were expecting visitors on the last day of installation the Hafod staff even expedited the work to ensure we had electricity and hot water by the time our visitors arrived!

The whole crew arrived exactly as scheduled, and in 5 days I had a full Solar/Electric system set up with an Air Source Heat Pump as well, with new radiators, solar panels, battery back up, etc. The crew did a bang-up job and I now have a warm and comfortable house 24/7. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Hafod Renewables for any work that you might need to be done. And a special mention to Lee, the project manager, who kept me fully informed throughout and went out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied. 100% happy here.

The intial process of designing and quoting for a solarPV-battery system brought much more knoweldge of technology and market factors than we experienced with other potential suppliers. Very helpful and sensitive to our practical and aesthetic needs. Our queries were dealt with efficiently and clearly.

A date for the installation was proposed very quickly, and was mostly adhered to; the only very light hitch was that Tesla were late delivering the battery. Communications worked well.

The installation work was remarkably good, one of the best ever experiences with a serious construction project. Our house is not straightforward, with an unusual geometry and thick walls. The detailed on-site design was very sensitive to aesthetic requirements (like hiding cables). It took two days, and the clearing up at the end of each day was impeccable. They worked around our cat Twlw who spent the two days sleeping in the most used paths around the garden. A very clean and neat job all round.

The monitoring app was explained clearly, and the system is working very well.

I engaged Hafod to fit a Powerwall 2, SolarEdge Optimisers and a 1kW extension to my existing solar installation. The Powerwall was fitted first due to the last minute rush for new installations to qualify for FIT. The Powerwall was fitted the minute it was delivered from Tesla in only a day. The panels and optimisers on my existing array didn’t quite take two days. The installation was very quick and professional in all respects. I would recommend them highly to do business with.

Hafod fitted a 12mw solar system to our building which was done very quickly and efficiently. The documentation and proposal was clear and concise, and the aftersales has proved very responsive

Hafod Renewable Energy Ltd is a wonderful company. Right from initial site visit with David and liaison with Mike at the office, through to installation and assistance with RHI /FIT applications, I found everyone I dealt with to be friendly helpful and professional. The five installers Luke Henry Lee Matt and Josh were really fantastic, and did everything they could do to install my ASHP system and Solar on time despite terrible gales and storms. I am really impressed with them all, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable company. When the settings needed adjusting Lee phoned me straight away and gave me step-by-step instructions that sorted everything out perfectly. I am new to the technology, but so far so good, the ASHP certainly seems to be heating up my stone cottage wonderfully. Thank you Hafod!

Air Source Heating

Great team at Hafod, the work was carry out with minimum fuss. The lads doing the job were thorough and professional.

System works great - warm and a lot cheaper than the old storage heaters. Wish we had changed years ago!

Hafod have just installed Ground Source Heat and retro fitted underfloor heating in our 300 year old farmhouse. The service from start to finish was exemplary, everything was explained and we were then left to decide how and when to to proceed, no pressurised selling. The workmanship was excellent and remarkably quick and clean. They even sorted out the RHI paper work.The system is working well and we can't wait for the winter. Well done and a big thank you to all at Hafod.
