I purchased an IHG points account from…
I purchased an IHG points account from this person, who promised that the account points could be used normally to book hotel rooms. They sent me the account information and asked me to log in and change the password and email.
After logging in and following the steps to change the password, I received an error message indicating that the password was incorrect, and I couldn’t complete the change.
I requested a refund or replacement account, but they refused.
I suspect that after I logged into the account, they immediately changed the original password, preventing me from completing the subsequent operations.
This person lacks any sense of integrity and is a shameless scammer.
I hope everyone avoids falling for this scam.
