As all the other reviews I am warning…

As all the other reviews I am warning you stay away I ordered four pieces of equipment the only one that was correct was a leg extension I got a prone leg curl instead of a seated leg curl and they will not replace it I ordered to refurbish stair mills
When the stairmills came in not only were they there a different brand they were also messed up and needed fixed. I tried to contact the company and according to the people that answered there a third-party in between and would not give me pertinent information I needed from my attorney just remember if you buy from them I told you so stay clear stay very far away from this company.

Horrible customer service and shady company

Second “refurbished” elliptical I’ve bought from them arrived dirty and stopped working after 3 weeks. Tech who was sent out to repair and assess said it needs a new battery and they’d arrange it with gym pros. Two months later I still am getting the run around about it being ordered and nobody can provide proof of this. The tech said they are very hard to work with and I worry I’ll never be able to get this fixed. The elliptical arrived with filthy door pedals and hand areas- you’d think they’d at least wipe it down before shipping but I guess not! Gross.

Gym pros has been the worst experience

Gym pros has been the worst experience, from the very beginning they told my gym the equipment would be here by our opening date and here we are a month after our opening day and we still have not received all of our equipment and now they are completely avoiding our calls!! We ordered everything three months ahead of time!! I would not suggest this company to anyone!

BEWARE! This company is a scam.

Purchased several pieces of equipment from this company and paid extra for the extended warranty. Received the machines broken, dirty and have tried over a year to have them come fix the machines. They give you the run around and tell you they will either send someone or mail you the pieces and it never happens. Machines still broken to this day! Horrible experience and bad reviews everywhere of them.

On 4 August 2021 I ordered a treadmill…

On 4 August 2021 I ordered a treadmill from Gympros of Newbury Park, CA for $2,247. I am to blame for part of the cancellation, Gympros is to blame for part of the cancellation. It was not emphasized that the unit weighed nearly 400 pounds, that the unit was being shipped fully assembled, that the unit would be dropped at the curb, about 1/2 mile from my house, or that there would be no refunds.  Those are important elements a retired senior/veteran such as myself, that should not have been glossed over, omitted or relegated to fine print. I emailed Gympros on 4 September 2021 to cancel the order, and emailed the shipping company that I would not accept delivery. Neither Gympros nor the shipping company took any action and still tried to deliver the order 5 days later. I have sent several emails to Gympros asking for a refund. Sometimes they just ignore and the couple of times they do answer its to delay, stall, pass the buck. Gypros' policy is for a 30% restocking fee plus transportation costs. I don't have a problem with that. Now the delay is because “accounting has not returned to the warehouse”, whatever that means, and that any refund will be $757 far less than the $1,053 I calculated using Gympros' policy. Customer support at Gympros simply does not exist. I have offered Gympros opportunities to resolve this issue without success, so now I have to take action with consumer protection agencies before pursuing legal action. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a life fitness treadmill

I ordered a life fitness treadmill. not cheap. a top 2% quality. after it arrived I uncrated it and tried it out, walking or jogging it makes a very annoying sound. I've called and emailed gym pros 3 times! was told no problem we will get right on it. NOT! also I ordered an antistatic mat to go with it. didn't receive it! called and emailed numerous times. I'm going to take action on this company, will not stand behind their products even after I paid for top quality $4500 machine . they will not get anymore of my money. I will be sending them a letter from my lawyer this week. that is fraud! interstate commerce laws apply. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Buyer Beware!! Please look at all the reviews and Better Business reports filed against this company before you make a purchase. It has been a terrible experience. I am out $4,000 with a broken machine. They will not back up there warranty. They take your money and stop returning calls. Please take the negative reviews seriously .

15 weeks and STILL they've not fixed the broken machine they sent me

14 weeks ago I received a damaged machine from gympros for which I paid almost $3000. I emailed several times and they were unresponsive. I finally called and got a reply. They did send a repair person to fix the machine but the parts have to be ordered by gympros. After weeks of trying to find out the status of the repair Gympros would not reply to me OR the repair company. They finally ordered SOME of the parts for the machine, BUT NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS. Today (about 10 weeks after my purchase of this broken machine) they sent an email asking if I was satisfied. They are truly UNBELIEVEABLE and uncaring towards their customers. I still have a broken machine 10 weeks after my purchase.
This is DEFINITELY the WORST buying experience I've had in my 40+ years of purchasing items.
UPDATE (April 10, 2021)
I received another part in the mail last week. It was 1 of FIVE parts that are required to repair the broken machine they sent me. I’ve emailed several times about the other parts and they are completely UNRESPONSIVE.

I now have to contact the authorities in Huntington Beach. I dread having to get attorneys involved, but for some reason this “company” does not want to fix the broken machine they sent me which was supposed to be LIKE NEW.

We really had high hopes for Gympros

We really had high hopes for Gympros. With the help of their salesman, Roy, we purchased commercial equipment for a new home. We purchased a Lifecycle, a Stairmaster, and a Life Fitness treadmill. We also not only paid for delivery, but also white glove service because we needed the equipment to be partially dismantled to bring in to the room of choice in order to fit through the doors. Prior to the promised delivery date, we called to verify the date because it was vital to our travel and to verify that all equipment was being delivered as well as the white glove service. On day of delivery, Gympros had difficulty with the delivery company and had to outsource the delivery and install. They said all equipment would be delivered. At delivery, the bicycle was missing, the stairmaster was not the brand/model we purchased and the deliverer said they were not prepared for white glove service. We spoke with Doug of Gympros and ended up sending the equipment back - of which none was moved from the delivery van at all. The delivery crew did not leave unit we received Doug's promise of a full refund and his apologies for their errors, the delivery crew. Doug even called us back that night to verify the FULL refund.
We DID NOT receive a full refund. They refunded the equipment but not the freight or White Glove service. It is terrible that they are keeping the hundreds of dollars we paid for white glove service when the equipment was never taken off the delivery or unwrapped. Please beware of their practices and their failure to follow through with promised and sending you the exact equipment you ordered.

I ordered a universal machine from Gym…

UPDATE - MARCH 2021
This is a follow-up to a review that I wrote a couple of weeks ago about Gym Pros. We finally got the shipping resolved and received the weight plates and leg press for the machine that was supposed to have arrived with all parts in early January. When we went to assemble the machine, several of the bolts were the wrong ones and we, again, had to stop assembly and reach out to Gym Pros. Gym Pros gave us the run around yet again and we followed up with multiple phone calls and emails. After chasing them down for almost a week, we got the following response in an email last night:

" I spoke with our general manager about Tuff Stuff and your order. We have suspended our relationship with Tuff Stuff indefinitely but you are definitely covered under the factory warranty.
Please contact them directly at1-888-884-8275 ext. 218 this is their parts and service department."

It's been three months, since I made the mistake of ordering with Gym Pros. They talked me into spending more and getting this specific system vs another one I was looking at. This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I've ever had. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get your gym equipment.

I ordered a universal machine from Gym Pros in early December. They upsold me to a better version that was thousands of dollars more expensive than the original one I was looking at. They seemed competent and I appreciated that. The trouble began with the first delivery. It arrived later than originally anticipated and when we went to assemble it, both the weight plates and the entire leg press were missing. We called and they were very apologetic and responsive and shipped the next day. That was the only good part. From there, everything went downhill. The pieces took multiple weeks to get across the country, the delivery was delayed and, when the last mile delivery service finally got to the house, they would not bring it up the long driveway to the garage. They said it was against their policy. This was odd because several weeks earlier we had had pallets delivered up our driveway to in front of our garage with no issues. We spent hours on the phone with the shipping companies (two of them), and almost a week later, there was no resolution. Brie at Gympros told us not to worry about the shippers, that she would take care of it. That was the last time we heard from Brie until today (a week later), when we were asked if we could pick it up from the shipping terminal (now many miles away) because the freight company wanted to charge them $400 to deliver it. We have been super patient. We have tried to resolve things over and over again. What started out as a very pleasant transaction has now become a two month long saga with no certain end in sight yet. We are now entering the third week of the materials (hopefully) being at the terminal, but not getting delivered. I wish I had read the reviews here before I ordered from them. The cost of the time spent resolving this and the hassle involved would have more than covered a more expensive option.

Stay Away

If I could I would give them a zero. I received a broken elliptical in August 2020. I purchased what was suppose to be a refurbished unit with a one year warranty. Upon opening the package I noticed a piece had been broken during the shipment. I contacted customer service with pictures and they assured me that it was cosmetic and that I could still use it. They stated they would order the piece and have someone come fix it. I tried out the elliptical and I realized the display was missing screws and it was going to fall off, I also noticed some strange sound and unevenness of the pedals. Again I contacted customer service and they assured me a tech was going to come and fix my issues. Fast forward to October 27th, when I email again and finally someone from West Coast Wellness comes to check the unit. He was surprised to hear this was a refurbish unit and not a used one. Well nothing came from this and no one has come back to fix the unit. I reach out again and Brie Garrett states that they will pickup the unit and refund me. She stating in an e-mail on 1/17/2021 that a refund was sent to my bank which is interesting because how would they have gotten my bank details if I have never provided this information. I paid with a credit card. These people are fraudulent and liars. Please do yourself a service and stay faraway from these people. My next step is going to take all of my e-mails and provide them to my credit card company and hope they can do something about it.

I purchased an amt 885 from Brie

I purchased an amt 885 from Brie. They missed all timelines they sent, and simply would not respond to calls or emails. Finally the owner called me and apologized. Nothing changed. After several more weeks, I gave up and said I would take another machine to get it done. They shipped it up, but wouldn't help me get it into the unit after I spoke to them about delivery into the unit a multiple occasions and in writing. Its a 500 lb delivery that even with myself and friends I couldn't move. Brie assured me 2 weeks ago she would help me to get someone, and I am back to emailing her, calling, texting, with no response. The machine is literally in town, and she can't help me to get it.
Ultimately, after 3.5 months, and a different machine, I am forced to give up, file a complaint with my credit card company, and order from a different company. I read these reviews and thought that it was likely just difficult clients, that I was patient and professional and it wouldn't bother me.
Honestly it is more valuable to simpy go with a full price machine or a different vendor, pay thousands more, to not have to work with this company. I cant talk about them badly enough. They are just awful.

Scam

Unfortunately this company appears to be a scam. They won’t take phone calls. They have all calls forwarded to an answering service and you never get contacted back. After two months I’m left with disputing the charges with my credit card company. Don’t do business with them!

Worst company EVER!

Worst company EVER!! We bought out treadmill and 2 months later it stopped working something about the console burning out. They sent us an outdated console that didn’t even fit with the one we had. Countless emails and calls no one ever returns call or emails. Not even the owner Roy Crocker returns calls. This is unacceptable!! Over 4K spent on this and now I have a broken treadmill in my gym taking up space with no one giving me a solution. Do not buy from this place.

Received Life Fitness upright bike yesterday bike was damaged. Countless calls emails and messages have been at no avail for someone to call me or contact me. Totally unacceptable. I would look elsewhere again before buying here.
