Without a doubt the best UK hosting! The support is second to none. They are always ready to help and work with you to solve any problems you might have, even when installing 3rd party software or hunting down errors. Polite, helpful and with a 'can-do' attitude.

Guru is the only web hosting company you should consider.

Their customer and tech support is as good as it gets, and despite the fact they've grown, they've never reduced their efforts to respond quickly to enquiries.

Been with Guru for a few months now and very impressed. No noticeable downtime, support is very helpful and tickets are answered quickly. Phone support is also available. Competitively priced. No complaints, will continue to use.

It's always a delight to get a response email back from the Team at Guru. They come back with a solution or a really well understood response to my issue. Saves me time and a whole lot of stress.

In all my experience with host providers and platform support I can say that Guru are easily the best. It is such a relief to be able to talk to someone (actually speak to a real person!) and not only that but someone easily understandable (as far as I can tell Guru do not sub-contract their support service to a call centre in India, Bangladesh etc) and knowledgeable. I've never had to wait more than a minute before someone picks up. And in the rare cases when a solution wasn't found straight away, the tech guy has handed me onto to someone who could help, and did solve the problem. Brilliant all round.

It's great to finally be working with a UK based provider that is actually interested in helping you beyond getting you signed up and paying.

I was with my previous hosting company, TsoHost, for more than a decade, until they were recently acquired by 123-Reg and the customer service standards plummeted. As an aside, avoid 123-Reg - they took over a week to answer my last support ticket.

I spent several days researching alternative hosting companies, eventually settling on Guru. I then signed up for an account late yesterday morning.

I'm writing this review just over twenty-four hours later and all five of my websites are now safely on Guru's servers, as are all my email accounts. The migration service was superbly supported and surprisingly painless. A few minor gremlins have subsequently come to light but my support tickets were answered within twenty minutes and the gremlins dealt with almost immediately.

It's early days, but I suspect it'll be at least another decade before I have to change hosting provider again.

Oh, and one final piece of advice - if your website is important to your business, don't scrimp when it comes to the hosting provider. Guru might not be the cheapest but, so far, they've more than proven their worth.
